Hi all. Smile

I just thought I'd make a thread to say hello to you all. I would say hello to you all individually but It would take me forever... its easier this way. Smile

My name is Chripper, well, its not my real name, obviously. I'm 24, male and I'm from Scotland. I wouldn't really call myself a huge Buffy fan. I loved seasons 1 - 4 but after that, the show became stale and boring. It became "Buffy's Creek" in the last 3 seasons. IMO.

That's all you have to know about me. Razz for now. Wink

Anyway, I was browsing the various Buffy related forums and this one seemed the most promising one. So ta-da! here I am. Smile

i thought seasons 2 , 3 , 5 , 6 and 7 were the best . there was a couple of eps in season 4 that i thought were good , like "hush" , "fear itself" , "yoko factor" , "this yrs girl" and "who are you ?" and last but not least "primevil".

Season 1 surprised all the critics that seemed to pre-judge the show in its infancy. Season 2 carried on the standards on season 1, but it raised the quality by a few levels. Season 3 was just superb! every ep was an absolute classic. Very Happy Season 4 was always going to be a tricky one, with Angel not there anymore. Sad Also it had the impossible job of trying to maintain the standards of season 3.

Everyone seemed to be really disappointed with season 4. with the lame initiative and Riley. But once the dust settled, and we got a whiff of the seasons to come, the majority of fans realized season 4 was not as bad as they first thought.

Season 5, I just didn't take to it. Buffy died at the end of that season, right? Yeah, well. That's quite a metaphor.

But I respect that everyone has different opinions. The world would be a boring place if everyone agreed. As long as you agree with me, then everything will be ok. Very Happy j/k
