I was once a real hater of Buffy, and an extreme hater of Angel. But about 6 months ago, TNT started showing episodes of Angel, so (out of boredom) I watched it, and had no idea what was going on. I tuned into FX to watch Buffy. The episode was "Intervention" and I got there just in time to see the Buffybot and Spike in the cemetary. I laughed my ass off. I had to watch more, and now I'm addicted, I have a crush on Spike, and I am ashamed.

Make me feel better!

Hehehe, welcome to the addiction that is the Jossverse and welcome to the Hellmouth. We have a great time here. If you are looking for something to make yourself feel better consider this. In the 12 non-contiguous seasons that Buffy and Angel have been on the air (as well as the half-season that Firefly was on), not a single Emmy was ever given for the brilliance that is the Joss.

So, if the bulk of Hollywood and quite frankly America (from the ratings shares the shows have always had) still doesn't get it, you should feel very proud that you did at all. Heck, I didn't join up until Angel S1/Buffy S4 and my girlfriend at the time was totally grooving on the show for three years.

The cool part? These shows get to be our little secret!

The weirdest of all. My friend Megen had this huge crush on Spike/James Marsters and I would pick on her for that. "How could you be in love with a guy who has a skull for a face?"
After I told her about my latest Spike obsession, she laughed her ass off. I deserve it.

The only person who hates that I like Buffy/Angel is my mom.
Because now she is liking the show. It'll take her a while to adjest.
