Well, since it looks like two book publishers may get into a bidding war over me writing a CD accompaniment to their stats books (which is way good for me, BTW, since it means more $$ for me) I'm guessing that I'll have an advance by June or July meaning I'll make it to the Con in November. The one thing that is holding me back is that none of my PTB can give me a definite answer of whether or not I absolutely positively have to be on campus at that time. If the PTB decide I have to be here I'm screwed. . . Evil or Very Mad

But I hope to see some of you at the Oakland Con in August.

I'm gonna be there... gonna phone this week and sort out my flight debacle. I'll be flying into Houston like before and then getting a separate internal flight to Atlanta.

I'll be there with the Hawks (of course) and the good news (for me at least) is that my job has changed their policy and now I can actually take vacation, even tho' school is in session, instead of being too sick to work that weekend. teehee Laughing
