Stars91THREAD STARTER
I know some of you may not have any idea what a ficathon is, well if that's the case and want further explanation feel free to email me at:
I have a hellmail account, but it's being all funky with me for some reason!
Anyway, since we know not everyone will and that some will turn away right after reading the ficathon subject, we'll clarify here: this is a total AU ficathon, but for those who like vamps in their stories, you can include those too. Your fic just can't be based on the events of canon. Ok, that's all, read on!
Oh, and please pimp this in your journals (whether you decide to participate or not)! We want to get lots of people signed up, and hopefully lots of different 'ships requested!
You do not have to have a Livejournal or a website to signup! Either flyergirl or I (stars91) can host your fic or post links. If you don't have a Livejournal you just have to email one of us with the fic or with a link as to where it can be found!

The Whedonverse AU Ficathon
Hosted by stars91 and flyergirl (aka Isis)
Since the Whedonverse as weve come to know it over the past 8 years is finally coming to an end, we have decided that we are all going to need some yummy fic to get us through the end of summer and hopefully provide some comfort during the fall season when our show would normally be premiering!!!
Whats a Whedonverse AU?
Whedonverse refers to the shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel. Your fic must involve those shows. As for AU, that means your fic must either be a total alternate universe where the characters are all human. OR you can write a supernatural AU which means you can have vampires, witches, slayers, or anything else supernatural, but your story cannot be based on canon. For example the story Wolf Pack, by Baby Blues which is a fic where all the characters are werewolves. If youre confused on this, please ask!
Dates:
Sign-ups begin April 30, 2004.
Sign-ups end May 31, 2004 at midnight.
Assignments will be sent out by midnight on June 1, 2004.
Fics must be posted by midnight on August 21, 2004 either by posting in your LJ or letting us know where the fic can be found.
Drop out date is June 23, 2004.
Other Rules:
Minimum word requirement is 2,000 (no maximum).
No character or ship bashing will be allowed!
We decided to add a larger word requirement and give you more time to write than the standard ficathon. Were hoping to get some nice longs fics out of some of you!!! Plus, these are AUs so it takes a little more work to get the story set-up.
When you make your request, the guidelines will be as follows:

Thanks in advance to anyone who decides to participate! We are definitely looking for a wide variety of requests!!!
