A little help

Ok well first of all, Adobe is not a program, it's a software company who makes numerous products.

You need to specify WHICH program by Adobe (pronounced A-doh-bee) you are after.

By far their biggest selling software is Photoshop, but they also make Premier, Acrobat, Illustrator and InDesign. Adobe is considered the industry standard in the field of graphic design, publishing and digital imaging so their programs a very expensive (over a grand each) and can be hard to get pirated copies of. But most Torrents sites usually host a copy for download of one program or another

The only free legal download I know of is the Adobe Acrobat reader for veiwing PDF files.

So in closing, you need to find out WHICH program you are after so you can search for it. If you don't know the name, tell me what you want to use it for and I should be able to tell which software you need.

Mr. P is right - the programs can be very expensive. Although you can sometimes find demonstration versions of the software, depending upon your operating system. If you use a Mac PM me and I can give you a link to a good demo hosting site.

The latest version in 8 I think. But a word of warning: Photoshop is a very involved program that requires a bit of patience to learn properly. I have been using it professionally for over 5 years and am still learning new things I can do with it.

There are other cheaper more scaled down image manipulation programs you can use like Paintshop Pro and even Photoshop Elements.
