not suprised at all, but I Gotta say I was pulling for Diana DeGarmo . actaully IMO LaToya London (put out 4th) was the best but I don't think she'll have a problem getting signed, if she hasn't already.
Don't get me wrong I like Fantasia, but not a fan of her music stylings. won't be buying her cd or anything.

Ozgirl -I wasn't surprised with the results either but it was reported that the vote difference was just 1%. I liked LaToya the best too. I really felt bad for Diana on tuesday...Simon was a bastard...really.

One good thing about Fantasia...she seems like she will be a good example to young girls/women that if you want something, you can achieve it. Obviuously, some people told her that she wouldn't make anything of herself being an unwed mother...that she was a loser.

I didn't watch a whole lot of the program this year, but I am glad to see that Fantasia won it. She had an exceptional voice and did a great job. Diana needed to grow a little more IMO. She didn't have much of a stage presence, even in the finals.

I don't know if AI counts as a reality show or not, but it occurred to me last night if it is a reality show, I don't mind it at all. The big difference between it and shows like The Swan Rolling Eyes are that this show produces something of value in the end. The new talent gives us songs that some segments of the population like, which is cool.

This is the only type reality show that I watch....well, there was Colonial House and Queer Eye. I took exception to the Judges always saying that this was the best year ever for this competition. I thought it was way boring to be honest. Last year was exciting and the first year had several very good singers with personality.
