The latesat Musings

I have not been a fan of ATS since halfway through S2. Angel has always bothered me, maybe because being around brooding people depresses and upsets me. I also thought he had such a 'me' attitude when it came to those closest to him. I watched ATS off and on just for the wonderful Wesley.

I can honestly say that I am glad that Spike went over to Ats...it made me watch this season and I was not disappointed. Angel was still a broodfest but at least with Spike we got to see another side of Angel...or more of him. And I got to see the other characters too and I LIKED them. I always thought that Gunn was a wasted character but by the end, I was adoring him.

I think Joss ended the series quite well given the time restraints here. I am pleased I watched and I am pleased that I liked these characters again. I would gladly sit down and even give Connor a try in a spinoff. Bless Joss for finally doing something positive with this character. The same goes for Cordy whose story ended back in S3 for me. At least she went out a bright light this year.
