New episode August 10th. Faith

Anybody else feeling like the writers are pushing the limits with this show...coming up with episodic themes trying to garner emmy nominations? i do feel that the show has become a bit contrived and anvil hitting with the themes but I still enjoy the episodes.

Whoa...about the religious aspect. Whoa. Wonder if there will be a bit of a backlash with that ending in the church. And then the beating ,ending with 'you were my favorite'.

Felt sorry for Liz. Was it shallow of her to want a 'goodlooking' child hence the decision to use Christian's sperm? Was it shallow of her to abort the child? Liz has always been such a strong character to me and yet I am conflicted as to whether or not she was strong or weak with her decision to abort.

Argh.

Oh...the opening song "make me beautiful"....is that just a teaser or is it a complete song? I love it and find it very haunting.

Wow. What an ep! Agatha's confession to Sean in the church blew me away. And I hate the nun. Can't believe what she did.

I have mixed feelings about Liz, too. Did she do the right thing?

Love Christian more, now, with his depth of feeling about Liz's baby. . . . but is he just grasping at straws now that Wilbur is out of his life?

Argh...where is everyone?

I liked last nights eppy, but it did bother me about the last shot & parting remark about nothing left to believe in... Confused

I hated the eppy too Wish! Especially for fellow Christians leaving it open for the assumption that there is no God and all we have is "religion". UGH! I was ok with it until the end and then I was spitting mad at the writers.

Aside from my faith base point of view...interesting concepts. Liz...wow. I still say she is very strong...getting the abortion is no easy decision to make and really is no easy way out as she will remain haunted by this act.

Well I certainly won't forget last night's episode. The montage of the threesome was . . . interesting to say the least.

I taped this week's episode and finally watched last night. Here I thought that Joss did metaphors like no other.

Kitsten the 3 way was unexpected and actually...I was a bit uncomfortable. Can you believe it? I was.

I like the scene on the airplane with the sleeping woman inbetween Christian and Sean. I am bothered by Matt though...I find him extremely immature. Yes, it is a 'knock you off your feet situation' but still, he doesn't seem to have a mature bone in his body. His mom has always been there for him, he could at least sit and talk to her. I think they skipped over the fact that she may have suspected Christian was the father but she has only known for sure for a few months.

The twin story was sad but a bit much with 'the separation' and surviving alone theme.

Hot damn...there aren't that many eps left Confused And MONK's season ends this coming friday Shocked I feel deserted. We really need to scramble for some new shows to watch starting next month that we can all enjoy and post about!

I missed the first 20 minutes so I'm gonna catch it tonight (repeat). The 3 some was a bit shocking. ok, a LOT shocking! Sean is flipping out for sure. The previews for next week are a bit bothersome too...Sean is continuing this fantasy life (with a doll???). Shocked

Matt...I expected that reaction from a teen boy...who can run to the witch ans get some action to comfort his pain. Rolling Eyes

Yeah, I was a bit disturbed by the 3-some, too. The fact that both of them were fantasizing about the same woman? •shudders• creepy.

And will they please just kill off Kimber?? I can't believe she's coming back. Ugh.

Everyone is falling apart! Only Christian is the stable one now? WTF?

This is a bit over the top. Sean may be freaking but seriously...to this extent? I'm in shock and how are they ever gonna be able to bring him back to real life and mend the family? Or are they planning on trashing this series this season for good?

Is it me or have they went into an X rated version this season with much more of the naked sex scenes? I'm a little concerned if they can pull this show together and save it from the depths they have sunk to. Sad

JK - I am a bit amazed too. I can't believe how mean and 'nutsy' Sean is right now. Is it just me or does anyone else feel that they have gone overboard with Sean's reaction? I don't know how I would react under the circumstances...but geez this is a bit much. If there is a patch up...how will Julia forgive the Kimber boinking?

Oh well///it is building towards an end. I can only hope that it is good. Right now this show is in no way comparing well to the wind down last year.

THIS WEEK'S EPISODE.

Last week I thought the show really did a major downturn. This week I am happy Very Happy Good episode, well done. I don't particularly care for Rebecca Gayheart but I thought she was good in the role. Wonder if Christian likes her or if she 'woke' something up in him.

Is it just me...or does Vanessa Redgrave look like she actually had a facelift done? Either that or they put 'older' makeup on her for her first scenes on this show.

It also looks like Shawn/Sean has a lot of pent up anger and bitterness in him for always acting the part of the good husband in the past. Man...he is cruel now.

Next week's episode looks like twilight Zone but interesting.

I watched this show for the first time the other night. And I was surprised. I sorta kinda liked it....too bad I'm so far behind Razz

Ok...so can Sean actually become human again? He's been so damn cruel! Lets talk about him making out with his patient last year...hmmm Sean boy? Betrayal of HIS lips and as recent as last year! Asshole! Julia's was ages ago. That whole thing with Sean going off the deep end pissed me off. Maybe now things will straighten out. Did ya catch the desire to kiss Eva in Julia's dream? There is so something there between them. I'm banking on a little romp between the two or at least some extremely strong sexual tension in the near future. Shocked Interesting. Glad Julia realized it's been Sean all along. Now it's back to poor Christian. He's trying to be a good guy... he should hook up with Kimera or whatever that blonds name is.

Did you recognize the song playing during the first surgery? "Everybody got their something" by Nikka Costa, also a Buffy song from season 6. I'm sure Mythie recognized it - she loves that song.

Shocked Truly disturbing episode. Merrill and the gas tank? Shocked Ending the ep with Christian tied down. . . AGAIN? Shocked Ava and her son? Shocked Shocked and eeeeeewwwwwwwww!

Anyone else as disturbed as I was?

What can I say except...ewww too. Rough ep. Rough. And yes, I was bopping to the song Kirsten Very Happy All I can think is that all this is boiling up and I can't even imagine was the season finale will be like Shocked I thought last year's finale was incredible and I hope I will fall out of my chair again.

Merrill cutting his face like that had me ready to urp as well as the stuffing of the body parts into the suitcase.

Question here for serious consideration...the patient who wanted to look like JLo (no, not you Sprookie)...should Sean have agreed to the surgery because a patient that string willed will resort to a backroom butcher for some results. What do you think?

Eva and Adrian....knew something was up but that was VERY hard to handle for me. Glad I wasn't watching last night's ep with my son. Yuck!!

Sprook - do yourself a favor. The first season is out on DVD. Rent it. They will do re-runs for this season.
