Aeryn vs. Cap'n Cardboard

I dated a "Riley" once. He liked to think he was Bond. James Bond. I liked to pretend i was a super-cool-thief. He was Republican, capitalist, I was (am) Anti....

I relate to Buffy choosing this road...for awhile...I normally fall for...oh, shall we say, bad boys? After awhile of being single, and not liking it, I decided to try (on my friend's urging) to be less picky. And then there was My Riley.

Nothing really wrong with the guy...but we just didn't click. He was into me, and I was "eh, what else am I doing?!"

Needless to say, it eventually ended with him "leaving" me. As if I was ever there. It's not an exceptionally proud moment, but,' if he likes me...'

So, this is how I relate to Buffy. What was my point? Oh, yeah, I just watched Prey for Rock 'n' Roll...Blucas wasn't bad in it, and it was weird seeing him as the tattooed smokin' ex-con.

And I still refer to Eric (the ex, not el Prez... Wink ) as Captain Cardboard.
