New movie starting next week.....have you seen the previews? Stuck in open shark infested waters....a whole hour and a half of two people trying to survive without being eaten alive while waiting for rescue. The reviews are already saying this is a nail biter and edge of your seat movie. I don't know about any of you but this is like one of my nightmares. I don't know if I can see this flick. I loved JAWS but to this day, I always look for a fin breaking the water if I am on a beach. Argh.

Alien...Predator....Freddie...Jason. No big. A shark? Dozens of sharks? Means screamfest to me.

I heard it described as the "Blair Witch" in water, referring to the camerawork and making alot of suspense out of teasers (like a fin coming out of the water)
Here's hoping it's better than Blair Witch, though; I just didn't really see the big deal with that flick. The only thing that got under my skin was Heather Donahue's incessant screaming (chuckles).

I saw the comercial for it last night Myth! Shocked

It looked. . ."oooo" worthy!

But I haven't seen any summer movies. . .so Spidey 2, The Village, Anchorman, and Harold and Kumar go to White Castle are on the list above this new flick!

I looooove Jaws! Such a kick ass movie. . .watch it everytime it's on. . .never seems to get old!

Speaking of Jaws, have they ever done a decent movie about The Indianapolis?

Clarence Hershberger was one of 316 men who survived the sinking of the USS Indianapolis in July of 1946. 880 sailors abandoned ship and floated in shark infested waters for more than four days waiting to be rescued.

A shark could hit the guy right next to you and there was nothing you could do because once he hit the guy, the guys going to bleed to death, remembered Clarence.

Sprook - my oldest son and his friends saw HAROLD AND KUMAR and it is fast becoming their favorite flick of the summer. They thought it was hilarious....I am hearing quotes all the time... i.e "Just because you are hung like a horse doesn't mean you HAVE to do porn". Rolling Eyes

Fogey - Ah, I remember seeing a documentary about that which freaked the crap out of me. A movie would be cool.

I'm not sure about this movie, it looks interesting, but I'm not sure if they can fill a whole movie with it....

Oh I saw that preview!!

Scares the sh*t out of me..... I don't think I need to see that one, bad enough treading in the ocean and feeling something brush your leg.. if i saw that movie, I would never go out in the water.

Also saw the prequel for the exorcist. hmmmmmmm
