Yeah, that Chase make-out scene was kinda... I don't know... silly. But she's hot, so I can't complain too much.
I thought the mother actress could use a touch-up in acting class.
Marcus is still cool as hell, though. Excellent actor/excellent character. Continues to do good things. He's a character who I have a love/hate feeling toward. Like Magneto, I guess. Or maybe that's a bad example. He's more like Gumby.
And where the hell was Charlotte? Ah yes, the writers are no doubt laying out plans on how to kill/get rid of her. That will be a sad day indeed. Though a necessity unless they want to explain growth spurts among purebloods.
I feel like this episode had some good stuff, but not sure if the writing did it justice. Maybe they should have spaced the mother/daughter storyline a little longer (which, then again, they might be doing since they didn't technically show a dusting).
Charlotte is too good a character for them to kill off Evil i so much more pronounced when it is aq so-called child.
I loved the speech about 'infected' meat. Gee, wonder why Marcus et al hate the purebloods.
X-box - Agreed about Marcus and i like Chase. I am like Shen more and more too. I haven't warmed to Krista that much. Maybe with all her family out of the way, her character will im mommie dearest will dust..prove. So....I think

Thoughts later. Late day. Learning about Marcus' past was pretty cool. Know why he hated the head of Armaya so much. Krista's shift worries me, though the previews show that it could go either way.
I'm beginning to wonder if they are making the sex scenes purposefully gross. If they are, it's working. I was eating a PB&J sammich when that scene came on and couldn't finish it. Crying or Very sad
Biggest surprise of the week was Chase's adbuction by TLV (littlest camp - XBox she's back!).
Come a day there won't be room for naughty men like us to slip about at all. This job goes south, there well may not be another. So here is us, on the raggedy edge.

Seven- I was a bit put-off without your 'pre-episode' synopsis. I missed it....a lot!!!
A good episode for me. Jammed full. I guess vampire sex would be messy, bloody, snarly etc. No first hand knowledge here.... Rolling Eyes At least Marcus' and Krista's roll in the bloody hay was better than what we had to endure with Chase last week. Wonder what this means for Krista and Marcus. And did Blade look a wee jealous at the end...or just pissed?
Funny, I was getting the impression that purebloods couldn't be killed except by Marxus' concoction. Obviously not. They burn up like the rest. So what...is marcus planning on having a gathering and slipping the potent stuff into the pureblood drinks and then watching them all get gooey????
I liked Marcus' background story...especially when he had his shirt off doing all that sawing Very Happy Very Happy A 'girl moment'......my oh my, what wonders that suit, shirt and tie hide..... Wink Laughing
I still have a hard time with the Krista character and EEP...will someone get Chase a better looking blond wig???? That thing is atrocious. That was a girl fashion moment Cool

This episode was good, over all.
I like how they're blurring the line between who is a good guy and a bad guy, especially with Marcus now that Krista is able to relate to him on a different level (one that was previously harder for her in previous episodes when it was clear to her that Marcus was bad and Blade was good).
Nice to see Charlotte is still alive and well. If and when they do kill her off, they'd better make sure it isn't some dumbass 'whoops I underestimated my opponent' moment like with that idiot they dusted this past episode. Smart characters deserve kickass death scenes.
PS - did they cut out a scene she had, because I thought she was featured in a preview in a different scene other than the limo
I'm equally surprised that PureBloods don't have some added extra rules to killing them, as it seemed to be implied in the last episode. Which makes that whole bit about poisoning the guy from last time a bit less... what's the word... necessary? Or maybe it's a poison that only effects purebloods with no effect on "the infected" so that Marcus could shower everybody and come out clean. I'm confused by that plot point, but hope it'll be clearer as time progresses.
I'm glad they killed that guy off, though. He was more annoying than a villain you love to hate. Maybe someone cooler will replace him as the new head of that house.
So I'm guessing the detective is about to become a new sidekick for Blade?
Fogey; That scene was on LA Law and the actress was Diana Muldaur. I didn't watch it myself but from what I've read, while most fans of the show felt that intrioducing ehr charcater and the bsuiness changes to the firm it represented was a bad storyline move, but then the same critics also said using a cheap device like that to remove her was when the show "jumped the shark."
Sighgh...the language in this thread.....
