Ok, it's not a relationship ship, but i was just wondering if their were any more people who though the Spike/Fred friendship was incredibly cute!

They did share a cute friendship in the beginning, but I cannot see anything romatically happening between Winnifred and Sir Spike. That's just not mesh-able in my brain. I thought it was more of a "Lil Bit" friendship sort of thing. He cared more about the safety, not romantics when it came to her.

Dunno someone might support it, hell there are Cordy/Angel shippers Razz Sick people Razz Laughing

S/F as a friendship only but I do think that Spike and Illyria had possibilities in the romance department.

I was feeling lazy so I just copied my reply from this thread at NBER

As friends only. Spike had picked up the habit or technique of using charm and flattery on the ladies to get his way. But indications were Fred saw through his flirtation and helped him out of a combination of friendship and the self imposed obligation to do the right thing. Although she probably appreciated the complimnet of his attention.

I did like the banter between them!

I noticed their friendship right away. I agree with Sprook on the 'lil bit' friendship thing. It seemed that he cared for her, not in a love way, but a deep friendship way that meant he'd do nearly anything (ie give up his chance to be touch-able when Fred was in danger, etc), just like he cared for Dawn in Season Six.

So yeah, I see them as friends, but there's only one love for the Fredkins.

Definately friendship. no love. I just thought it was so cute (i mean fred is cute in her own way anyway) that she would automatically be the one to help him when no one else would, and stick up for him. Definately a lil bit relationship.
Don'tcha just hate it when people create nasty fanfic about Dawn and Spike - euugh. It's just as bad as Connor and Cordy - IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO HAPPEN!!!!!

*ppp calms down*

Sorry about that, just hate that storyline.

No - i just like the friendship - i think it's great that there are some friendships in the Buffy verse that havn't at one time or another been corrupted...... Very Happy

Hey, William will always be William when it comes ot the vulnerable ones, even without the sexual overtones. And that's part of what made Fred Fred, the overt vulnearbility.

What disappointed me was Charisma's (let's not mince words here) firing deprived us the chance to hear Spike and Cordelia cutting each other up.
MEmory is an odd thing, but when you think about it, what else do we have of anyone or anything, even when they're right here with us? Gee, I honestly didn't plan on typing that when I started this post.

A reality network? Where is the need? We already have the History Channel for reality programming. Cool

The first choice in your poll was too funny to pass up, so I voted for The Big Shove. This may be a good thing. It will remove the false reality shows from regular TV where they interfere with the shows I watch. Then too by concentrating them on a network, it may overdose viewers so they become satiated and lose the desire to watch such fare.

In any case it will give me another entire network to ignore.

*shudder* I hate reaility TV. I remember the days when The Real World was groundbreaking TV. Now its just however much of the daily orgies MTV can air without being fined by the FCC. Anyway...a reality TV channel!??!? What's next? A breathing channel!?!?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Put all the reality tv shows on one network so that we don't have to watch them anymore and we get more good tv shows. If this fox reality station will get scripted shows back on fox then I say GOOD!

Have to agree with miles on this one. I think it's a great idea. Put all of them on one channel. Think about it. Reality junkies will be glued to one channel and leave the rest of us alone. Laughing

A reality network;why not? Maybe it'll prove to be the backwater or eddy which draws most of such programming into itself and reduces (sorry, won't eliminate) the clutter on the real networks.

And true reality shows are a subset of game shows, as a little thoght about the formats makes obvious. _Animal Cops_, like _Cops_, is essentially legit documentary except played way more for entertainament than information. Wahtever the shortcomings, it's not _Temptation Island_.

And when i saw the title I ddin't realize thsi was about Reality TV. I've always thought reality goes too far.
Now, at the barest beginning of the evening, Willow smelled like the middle. Tara didn't say anything but she smiled inside..

I heard the Britney thing this morning on the radio. I woke up to it. . .LMFAO. Damn alarm radio. The idea of watching her on tv with the moron hubby Kevin is disgusting. This is the man who dumped his PREGNANT WIFE to be with the Skank of America. Yeah wholesome family tv.

Not.

As for reality t.v. I don't really get into it. I liked the first season of Survivor then it just became too much. Same with Big Brother, sleep-around-fest.

I will admit I do watch a few reality shows: Who Wants a Famous Face (It's disgusting yet I'm drawn to it), Nick and Jessica (Who doesn't want to see Jessica make an ass out of herself?), Ashlee Simpson Show (OK I have no taste shoot me now), and The Real World (I love the cat-fights MROWR!)

Damn you MtV Razz
