OK. My friend just bought the Firefly DVD set which was recommended to him. I went over there on a Saturday and after watching 'Serenity' I refused to leave until i had seen them all. Suffice to say that those Gorram idiots over at Fox didn't know what they had. It is one of the most original concepts I have ever seen. Combining my two favourite things: spaceships and cowboys. This show kicks ass. The characters are human and inspiring and the stories are pointed. The best thing about the whole package is that it never takes itself too seriously. The casting is flawless... each cast member takes these roles and makes it look easy - the sign of remarkable talent. I have not been this inspired and obsessive about a TV show ever. It has awoken a spirit in me that I thought was only reserved for people that dress up for movie premiers. So, I sincerely want to send out a wave to those involved and say "This is what good TV looks like" - Thank you all so much and I can't wait for the movie. I mean it: I CAN'T WAIT. Browncoats forever.
