Heroes - Season 3 Villains

The premiere for Heroes S# started on Monday, and it is starting of better than Season 2, but it just looks like they are starting to rip off the Marvel Universe.

Suresh with Spider powers and the two of villains have the power of magnetism and fire.

It's a nice start, but we'll see how it goes. I wonder if they'll start a Brotherhood of Evil :P :lol:
If Parkman finds a hero that can control nature in Africa, then you know they are ripping of Marvel :P

Given the existing Marvel etc body of work; it might be a little difficult for them to come up with a set of all new powers to give their characters.

Well at least they didn't rip off the Flash by having a "guy" run around at super speed :lol:

I'm really looking forward to this season. Hubby and I LOVE heroes.

Anyway, they're off to a great start. I loved the scenes with Sylar and Claire.

And when Weevil saved Veroinca, it was cool. Hopefully these Level 5 people will be interesting characters, like Sylar, and not just lunatics.

The only thing I didn't like was Suresh getting powers. It looks like some of the people with powers got them from a chemical formula and Suresh has stumbled upon that. I wonder if Peter will try to kill him now?

Thanks for the Jesse Quick link - I haven't followed graphic novels for a "few" years so was not aware of her. Her outfit looked like it was designed by Captain America :ugeek:

Suresh (for being a smart science guy) sure seems to lack common sense with a lot of his decisions.

*wipes brow* Phew. Finally caught up (we've been busy which means our d/loading gets behind).

I can't help but see parallels left right and centre of other superhero worlds. Not sure I'm happy with the amount of time/space mucking around. If they show a TARDIS in background I'm giving up :twisted: .

I know LegoKing is still enjoying it, though he & I are both so over Parkman.

Personally I think they are starting to head into the "we're going to have sooo many in our lead ensemble" they won't know how to undo themselves. Having said that what happened to the New Orleans crowd? They seem to have all poofed :shock: .

Overall I don't mind it but I'd like a little more depth - not just in a "well this is the future splinter of X's decisions etc".

Still watching it though 8-)
