The MENTALIST - I like it so far. Adore Simon Baker.
SANCTUARY - Huh? I'll watch again due to my hunger for scifi shows.
LIFE - I think it has been great thus far this season,
FRINGE - Still watching.
DEXTER Yum. Hope it keeps up to the standards of S1 and S2.
CALIFORNICATION - I am always horrified watching the 'Hollywood' people...drug and sex freaks and so superficial. Yet I am entranced by the acting. Go figure.
ELEVENTH HOUR - Starts tomorrow I believe and I am looking forward to it and Rufus Sewell. Yum.
LIPSTICK JUNGLE - I can't believe I watch this because I am not a 'chick flick or chick series' type gal but I am guilty of liking this so far. I worry about myself :(

There's more....but your turn.

Pushing Daisies isnt holding my attention the way season 1 did. I'm hoping it gets better.

Nora - That makes me feel better to know it's not just me. But then again, I've only watched the first ep of the season.

I think there was a certain charm to PD first season with the love story but it feels a old now. I am hoping that they concentrate more on the crime solving because the premise is fun. I still love the whacky aunts and Olive as well as the Detective. Funny, I could do w/o the lead characters.................

I plan to watch LIFE ON MARS. I've never seen the BBC version ut I know that it is/was hugely popular and a critical success. The American version has an astounding cast.

Life would be a bitch w/o the DVR....but I find I don't have the time to watch the shows I've taped :|

I watched LIFE ON MARS and I am duly impressed with the acting chops present with the cast. I thought it was okay and I will watch again to see if it grabs me.

ELEVENTH HOUR - It's about a famed scientist working with the FBI investigating the inexplicable. It grabbed me from the get go....I liked it a lot. It's different than FRINGE which is more 'out there'. Good cast and Marc Blucas was in the first episode and I enjoyed him in his role. I sincerely hope that he gets a regular spot in the cast. Rufus Sewell is yummy as usual (I love me my DARK CITY) and Mary Shelton should be a nice addition for the male viewers.

SANCTUARY was better this past Friday. I'll keep watching.

re LIFE ON MARS

I too have watched the first to eps. Jason O'Mara is a wonderful actor. And not bad to look at. Then, of course, Imperioli and Keitel. That, right there, is reason enough to give it a shot. It was also nice to see Lisa Bonet again.

My only concern is that the coma/crazy/robot thing will get stale. All depends on where it goes.

I watched the new ROBINSON CRUSOE last Friday. I saw the actors on the TODAY show and thought that they were way tooooooooooo good looking and hunky to be able to act. I was pleasantly surprised. It's escapism and probably will get canceled but the 2 lead actors are ripped and gorgeous.

Anyone watch ENTOURAGE or CALIFORNICATION?

Okay....so what have we been watching?

I couldn't get into LIFE ON MARS, so maybe during re-run season or during the next strike :(

I absolutely love LIFE. I sincerely hope that someone else here watches this excellent show. The people who choose the music for this show do an excellent job. I am now hooked on new bands. The acting is wonderful and I love all the characters.

Still liking THE MENTALIST, PUSHING DAISES and FRINGE.

I still adore CHUCK and ELI STONE. Well done programs IMHO.

HEROES......WTF?? It's in serious trouble now with the ratings. The writers need to get their heads out of their butts. I do find that I am crushing on Sylar.... :o Do I need an intervention? I get all drooly when I think of Groucho Marx eyebrows :| The actor who plays Sylar seems an excellent choice to play a young Spock in the new STAR TREK movie.

Fpgey - I've been taping THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES. To be watched at a later date. This show is suffering from low ratings this season.

I just checked out canceled shows and I was kind of disappointed that PUSHING DAISES has been canceled even though it was starting to grate on my nerves. It was different.

STARGATE ATLANTIS will be gone and I don't know if it was due to lack of ratings or if it was decided that 5 seasons was enough.

LIPSTICK JUNGLE. Understandable

ELI STONE- I'm upset. I liked this little gem of a show.

BOSTON LEGAL- It was a decision to end this fine show. I loved the writing and the irreverent treatment of the court scenes. There could never be another attorney like Alan Shore who was a puppet for the brilliant arguments of David Kelly. Some of the best rantings and digs on issues in this country. I will miss you BL in all your brilliance and quirkiness.

LIFE - Big sigh of relief for me. This wonderful show is still okay. Keeps fingers crossed.

On an UP NOTE.....LEVERAGE is new and it is very enjoyable. It's on TNT Tuesday night. Christian Kane. Still yummy :P

ELI STONE - Ah crap - has it got canned already??? We've just had it start here (our "Summer NonRatings" period)....albeit 2 nights a week - doesn't usually bode well.

Whilst away finally saw an ep of BLOOD TIES - is that still alive or has it been killed too - do I bother with it?

TRUBLOOD - I've grown accustomed to its diversions from the books & was surprised to see Anna nominated for a GG (as well as the show itself).

DEXTER - glad to hear it's keeping on keeping on.

Suspected HEROES was in trouble. We get it "Fastracked" aka get it down asap so the all the d/loads don't pip the ratings etc & it's been shunted to the 11.30pm timeslot (which is even later than BtVS or AtS had). Personally I've lost interest in it completely - had been happening a little towards the end of S2 & now...... :?

FRINGE has been shunted around & haven't had a chance to actually sit & watch it

Is the LIFE ON MARS the American remake?

Dang nabit on PUSHING DAISIES - was kinda looking forward to to hunting that lil one down :o

Glori-
LIFE ON MARS the American version. Awesome actors but I just couldn't get involved.

Check out LIFE and see if you can get it.

HEROES ended Volume 3 tonight and I thought it was rather lame but it serves as a good set up for Volume 4 which starts after the Super Bowl here in the States.

DEXTER ended a bit lame for me this time around but I will continue to watch my darling serial killer..

PUSHING DAISIES was quirky, way different and colorful which is lovely in the beginning but then starts to annoy in a way especially the star-crossed leading couple. It was clever in so many ways and the dialogue just ripped right along.

Ahhhh.....January is around the corner and LOST will begin again....the show I just loveto hate. A mish mosh of questions with no answers. At least I vent nicely while raging at the screen when I watch it.

ELI STONE I will dearly miss.

Loving LEVERAGE.

I never watched BREAKING BAD before....hell, there just isn't time to watch all these programs that are usually on at the same time as something else I want to watch.....or I just forget if it's on a cable station I rarely ever watch. Well the new season of BB starts on the 8th I believe and since I had a night where I couldn't sleep, I went to the DEMAND feature and the first season is still up until the 8th so I watched the first ep, then the second.....I went to bed at 4 a.m!

Incredible series but it is dark and bloody but mesmerizing. It feels real and not 'produced' if that makes sense. Bryan Cranston, who played the dad on MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE is incredible and it is very understandable why he won the Emmy. So happy about deciding to watch this 1st season 'in a lump' way. I actually learned some chemistry while watching

Lee Pace is GORGEOUS. Check him out in the movie MISS PETTIGREW LIVES FOR A DAY. I adore KC and my fav was the black detective. Sigh...imaginative shows just don't have a chance :(

Fogey - I like CASTLE so far. It's fluffy fun and the cast is wonderful. Love Jill Clayberg!

I really really hope some of you get AMC to see BREAKING BAD. It is appalling, heartfelt, depressing, heartwarming, ghastly and just plan wonderful. I watched the first season (only 7 episodes) ON DEMAND in one day. I mean, I couldn't move away from the tv!! And here people get squeamish about watching DEXTER (your everyday lovable serial killer)...phfft!!! Check out BB.

THE UNUSUALS looks like it might be good. It starts 4/8 on ABC.

I watched THE UNUSUALS last night and I thought it was pretty good. Great cast. I will definitely watch or DVR next week to see if they keep up the momentum. Not your typical cop show that is bloating the airwaves.

HARPER'S ISLAND starts tonight. It sounds like fun for 13 weeks and the bonus here is that it has actually gotten good reviews.

The review I saw called it fun because it was a teen slasher movie that would run for 13 weeks. Gave the lead actress high marks and indicated she made the show worthwhile.

Fogey - believe it or not, the actress is the daughter of David Cassidy. Don't ask me why I know that  Sometimes I think I'm a freaking sponge for non-essential info

Bryan Fuller says that he is considering continuing Pushing Daisies in another media (comics I think) so there will be more stories of Ned, Olive, Chuck and Emerson. Not the same as on TV, but alas it continues their story.

I started watching show called Better off Ted. Quite funny regarding employees at a company that says they care but they actually din't. The last few eps have been good.

Parks and Recreation was hysterical last night so that might be show worth a second episode. Amy Poehler was funny but I think Aziz Ansari has the best scenes.

Rest of the time just been playing video games and watching DVDs :P

PRIMEVAL started last night on the SCIFI channel. This is a Brit series and it is kind of like LAND OF THE LOST, STARGATE, DR WHO and TORCHWOOD. I tend to like it though. I caught a few eps ON DEMAND on the BBC America channel.

Hey...it fills the BSG void at 10 pm if you're home and still conscious

Lone- I agree about BETTER OFF TED. The premiere ep (I taped it) was a hoot. PARKS AND REC was pretty funny too. I DVR some new shows and check them out later to see if I may like them, at least occasionally. Another one I taped was SOUTHLAND and found it well done. With Jay Leno taking over the 10 to 11 pm slot every night in the fall, a lot of TV shows are going to be canceled. I think my beloved LIFE will get the axe

Well, Chuck is back in its usual Mondays at 8 timeslot, but not until after the Olympics. Which means Chuck fans will have to wait 11 months from the season finale to see season 3.
