The first of the LAST (oh say it isn't so!) 10 episodes starts tonight. Anybody else excited? I can't wait to be more confused until all is revealed! Friday nights look good again....at least for the next 10 weeks.

Looking forward to this season - I want to see how they resolve the series. It is way better than the original BSG.

Was the ending a 'red herring' regarding the 5th Cylon?

WTH is Starbuck????????????????????//

I have to admit that I was riveted to the screen for the whole hour but I sure as hell don't like where this may be heading after seeing the previews for next week.

MYTH WROTE:Was the ending a 'red herring' regarding the 5th Cylon?

Could be. That person is definitely a Cylon, but could they be an older version of one of the known Cylons?

My tape ran out when the XO was wading out through the water. So I can't comment on the previews.
Starbuck may or may not have started out as a Cylon, but I wonder if a Cylon revival ship could have been nearby when her ship crashed and recreated her?

Technical flaw, they said the radiation indicated the blowup was about 2,000 years in the past but the ruins etc were in too good of condition for that.

Was there any thing to indicate that it was really Earth? Did we see the Moon or a distinctive planet like Saturn while they were inbound? Umm we're all Cylons here according to the story.

Fogey - To me the previews suggest that Richard Hatch is ready to start a war with the Cylons....typical since BSG is a statement regarding humanity. I don't know if I am correct but it would sound right.

I was amazed about the suicide. That came right out of left field for me.

Why did Leoben back away from Kara when he saw the dead body in the fighter plane?

He realized that he doesn't know who or what Kara is.

Hey did you say Kara is easy?

There are 2 types of Cylon - the second version being teh ones from Earth/13th tribe. Perhaps he realised Kara is one of the 13th tribe cylons?

The last 2 episodes were intense but this coming ep made my heart beat faster while watching the previews.......please don't let anything happen to Adama!!! Love Starbuck's 'shoot the bastards' attitude. Tough as nails broad....a little psycho too.

OK the Fifth Final Cylon (from previews) caught me by surprise.

So now where does the rag tag fleet & its' Cylon base ship groupie go?

Fogey - Who do you think is the 5th Cylon? SY (?) mentioned it as his wife and I thought it was a red herring. I missed previews after the last episode  I do find myself anxiously waiting for Friday nights because of BSG....feels like BTVS and Tuesdays....almost. I will dearly miss this series when it concludes. I was on the edge of my chair last episode. Great tension!!

The actress who plays Starbuck was on NIP N TUCK last night. I taped it and plan to watch later. She plays a gal who wants some kind of work done. NT is even more raunchy and crude this season and yet I still watch mesmErized by the raunch and crude :? Fogey...check your listings and maybe NT will air again this week on FX. I plan to watch this episode in a bit while sorting through papers for tax work. I might as well make such boring stuff a little more interesting.

Looks like her in the previews too.

Starbuck on NT? Might be worth watching just to see Katee Sackhoff in another role but I don't want to start yet another show - I am saving that effort for Friday and Dollhouse.

Speaking of displaced Cylons, Tricia Hafer (sp?) has been on Burn Notice and Grace Park has been on a show (the name of which eludes me at the moment  ) about a guy who gets people off their drug addictions.

Brother Cavil is one frakked up dude. He has sex with his "mother" knowing he was made in the image of her father? That's not just crossing the line, that's taking a dump on it as you cross.

Fogey - Katee Sackhoff's role on NT is pretty despicable. Nasty.....yuck. She'll be on the next ep as well and I hope her part ends after that. Actually....most of NT is pretty despicable....and yet I still watch 8-)

Don - I agree and yet I am mesmorized :? Looking forward to Friday's big reveal. Personally, I can't see some of the Cylons taking off and leaving the fleet.

Only 3 eps left!! I'm confused but enjoying the confusion  I did notice while reading some online sites that there will be a BSG movie called THE PLAN scheduled for release in June. I am guessing that it will be on Scifi. Jane Espenson wrote the movie. My thoughts....the series ends with too many questions so the movie will help to clarify.

Myth: The Plan will focus on the Cylons and what their "Plan" was after the attack on the colonies (as in "and they have a plan") and how it was changed/thwarted by having survivors.

Three episodes left...will Galactica herself even last that long?!

Hey guys! Long time no seen. I loved the final episodes... most I watch up to 5.... last ones as of late, not so much.

[b]Here is what I propose for the Finale two-parter:

BSG: Get Your Frakkin questions answered thread
BSG: God vs The Gods
BSG: Relationships *this includes Bromances

And some others along that line........ what to u think?

I just know I will have a ton of questions and i need some structure ;)

I am trying to avoid spoilers, I can only hope that Laura doesn't kick it this week. :(

But I will check that out after the last show airs

So how do people feel about the final?
Kind of a let down for me :(

Fogey - I've been out of town for a few weeks and 'web free'. I thought the first hour was 'kick ass' but I was a bit put off with the final half hour. I guess it was a wind down but it was a bit much for me to take. I mean, really, they give up conveniences and start over?????? Hell, I'd want a spa and a 5 star hotel while waiting for someone to build me a house and clear the land for a farm. I can be 'farm girl'....but only after the initial stuff is done

I guess we have to wait until the movie comes out this summer about the Cylon Plan for a better undeestanding.

I watched the special and the finale was pretty based on the saying 'it has happened before and it will happen again'.

I noticed that Scifi is going to have some interesting series starting this spring and summer. I am hopeful.
