What's up??
Best commercial on tv - The guy swinging that pizza dough all over the kitchen while 'Mambo Italiano' is playing. I'd like to mambo my Italiano in his direction

I'm killing myself between full time work and full time school. And my friends recently have been bugging me more than usual to actually get out of my house and social with them on the weekends. It's weird.
I'm checking in. Sorry I've been gone for so long. I've been dealing with some RL issues. I miss everyone! Hope to catch some of you around soon.

Well, I drop by but, even tho you folks are my first and oldest friends on the Web, my currently limted life gives me little to talk about with you so I don't show up much.
Question for the movie lovers; a local pawnshop has copies of DVDs of both Simply Irresisitible and Harvard Man. How bad are these?
(I'm kinda-sorta workign on a colelction of films by the Buffyvets; so far I ahev Date Movie. I don't paln on buying Eurotrip ebcause I'm not enoguh of Michelle T> fan to make ti worth the 5 bucks at Wal-mart's bargain aisle and I don't wan't to buy Wrong Turn ebcuase it's a slasher fic.)

Daddy - You can just stop by and add to the convo because it is always good to hear from you :D I love SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE and I thought SMG was decent in it. I tend to drool over Sean Patrick Flannery and I tend to drool over the lovable and adorable crab in this flick. Honest. Re HARVARD MAN...I absolutely loathed this movie and hated all the characters especially SMG's. I still can't understand why SMG took this role....maybe she thought playing a loud mouth bossy bitch was a good career move to show her range. For me....it was a total yuck.

I really liked Simply Irresistable. It was a nice piece of romantic fluff. Something that doesn't require your brain to sit back and enjoy. I haven't seen Harvard Man, so I can't help with that one.

Here's a thought....
How about we watch HARPER'S ISLAND tonight on CBS. It's only 13 episodes and we, the audience, try to figure out who the serial killer is. The reviews are actually very good. I'm channeling Agatha Christie as I type

I've been seeing the ads for Harpers and it does look interesting. May catch up on it after Easter weekend (busy as heck until then). I will add that I am wondering if Harpers and shows similar to British shows where they limit the story to 10-12 episodes may be the wave of the future. With US networks seeming to be incapable of committing to something long enough to let it garner a fanbase and really work, writers may be forced to cull their stories down (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Just a random thought while I'm slogging through job applications. (Oh yeah, my company shut down exactly one week after I moved into the house I just bought. Nice, huh?) Anyways, dropping in...

hey everyone
how is it going? Hope all is well.
Hope everyone has a Happy Easter and beware of those bunnies with their long teeth. They are not as innocent as they want you to believe. Look what that one bunny tried to do to King Arthur and his Knights. NEE!!!!! :P
Have a good Easter everyone!!!
