I'm so not going to like jumping from average 60s to frickin NYC Summer & high 80s/90s :x to only come back to the sweet, sweet cold :lol: . August here is the month we call actually go "hmmm, those westerlys be blown mighty fine & strong".....

Heya Myth *HUGS* Going to have to annoy my sister & try & drive her Mac - post to the Hellmouth when I'm NY mwahaha*hairball*hahahaha. But that is still a month away.

Have a long weekend here & am taking the partner-man in my life away (with LegoKing too) for his birthday. Thing is he don't know about it. As far as he knows, we are visiting his parents.......and we are. Just 48hrs later than he thinks we are (his parents are in on this too). :twisted: :mrgreen: :twisted: I ain't a hellgoddess for nothing ya'know!

Also into the final 4 scenes of my current book - it's sitting on 68,000 words & should be in at around the 80K mark. Then comes the editing :roll: !

Then there is that little trip to NYC to get organised. Have to go fill in the official US government forms to say "Let me in" Please take my fingerprints and say I'm a nice person............. :? Least it's a visa waiver & not a full blown visa.

Oh & pleeeeeeeeeeeease let the Aussie dollar keep on doing well as it is. That way I can annoy Ramones........maybe :lol: :lol: :lol:

If 'well' is finishing one quarter by writing a 5 page paper, completing a 5 page take-home exam, and sitting through another final that is 8 short answer and 2 essays in 2 hours (which was the same day I finished the 5 page paper), only to have 2 days off before starting summer quarter (why couldn't I get a week off? Is that so much to ask?), then I'm swell! ;)

Actually, I'm not too bad. I got good grades throughout the quarter. My Penguins won the Stanley Cup and I was able to laugh at Marion Hossa Friday night while printing Penguin Champion t-shirts. I have a job, even if I'm extremely underpaid. So besides almost never having time for real sleep, I'm great. 8-)

Steph - I didn't know that you are a Penguins girl...grrrr. I am Red Wings. In all honestly, the Penguins outplayed the Wings....the really wanted the Stanley Cup. I was disappointed with the outcome but the Penguins were psyched!

Jumping back burnt my flesh big time but now am healed.

Glori: I am getting my ass to Chicago. We so need to party!

Whew late night last night got to bed at 2 am and drank too much wine. I need a nap or more coffee.

21 Days & counting until I"m on a plane heading to the US.

Ramones - am trying to get my time zones together. Have had a curve ball this week with a job interview - returning to libraries (& leaving teaching in the process).......3 1/2 hr stage 1 interview (I was one of 60 from an original pool of 770 applicants :o :shock: :o ) & I made it through to stage 2 which shall be Thurs morning (my time). Hopefully by the time we meet *squeal with delight* I will know if I'm coming home to a job!

After that interview is over, I'm hoping to skype my sister & double check it all but CHICAGO IS GO (as far as I'm concerned) :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Then I shall be calling you my dear soul sis! Watch out world - Ramones & Glori partaying together......in the same room :? :shock: :mrgreen: !!!!!

Hey we can watch TruBlood together in Chicago (since my only US Sunday night will be there :lol: :lol: ). Addictions are good and healthy ;)

Other than that, I've been surviving LegoKing surviving assessments (mid-year stuff) & planning for his SENIOR high school year subjects (he is debating between chemistry & computer programming & drama. When did this happen????? HOW did this happen (& why o'why does he want a WINDOW seat for 21hrs ....he's 6' for crying out loud :roll: ).

Oh yeah & planning my trip.............. *happy dance of joy*.

I have to try and fiugure lout thiks skype thing since I now have a mac with a camera. Let me see what I can do for that.

I also do not have HBO but I will find someone with it!!!! or I will get a hotel room downtown with one and we can party.

I usually download it.
