The first one rules, dia. Just hits the nail right on the head. If you know Mike Mignola's shit, it's a really good interpretation of it. Now let's see 'em make a GOON movie. That would kick ass!

There's a WATCHMEN movie??? Now there's a must!
Nora - Thank you! I thought I was the only person on earth who hated that show. But I say she looks more like a horse with gum infection...

I think SJP is sweet and yet I cringe at her fashion sense and the fact that the press makes her a fashionista. I watched SITC for years so I am curious about the movie but it is not a 'must see' for me. I can't believe the press coverage on it and the thousands of panting fans. It will be interesting to see the box office take for opening weekend.

Tony - Yep, there's a Watchmen movie coming out. They released photos a few weeks back. See, the military deprives you of movie news :P
I definitely want to see IJ 4 as well. I hope it's good, but Shia have reservations about and no nazis just Commies hm.....we'll see.

Tell me about it, Lone! The army deprives me of everything...I've seen maybe 10 movies the past 2 years. Not kidding.
No Nazis??? For shame!!!

I saw Iron Man last weekend. Hella good. Love RDJ
Fan of SATC, but now way am seeing it in the movies. Gotta get Tim caught up on Indy movies.
I saw the trailer for Star Wars Clone Wars that is coming out in August. That looks like a fun movie to watch interesting that it will be all CGI.

Yea I saw that too. I wonder if he got everyone's voices. I dunno if I want to spend my money on it in the theatre tho.
I just heard that there could be a Witchblade movie in the works now. Don't know who will star as of yet.

I saw the trailer for Twilight on IMDB. I am even more excited for this movie now. The parts that are in the preview are near exactly how I pictured things in my head while reading the book. I don't want to wait til December.

Christian Bale has signed on to play John Connor in the next Terminator movie. He has also signed on to do two more sequels depending how big of a hit the first one is.
So far No Ah-nold.
I should have posted this yesterday to coincide with Matt's news on the Sarah Connor Chronicles.
I saw the trailer for Kung-fu Panda and that looks funny and also Don't mess with the Zohan looks hysterical

Disturbingly interested in Kung Fu Panda.
Ironman was better than I thought it'd be (had been living with the other half waiting in 'eager anticpation' aka nuts since it went into production). RDJ saved the movie for me :D
Seeing IJ 4 tomorrow afternoon in a group via Gold Class (which I'm not sure you have in the US....yet). Brother-in-law got to interview Harrison & go to Skywalker ranch.....he's in the country (mine) in June, so curious to see what he thought of it all (saw the photos next to the original Yoda, the original Ark.... ).
Hellboy 2 would like to see. Quite enjoyed the first one.
Get Smart I'm really dubious about - oscillate about that one.
SATC I can't stand in any shape or form and none of the actresses do a thing for me on any level. So that'll be a big pass
Oh and there is also the X Files one which I will be dragged along to I'm sure (never had a chance to get into that - was my late pregnancy/early child years of blurriness *LOL*).

Glori - we don't have Gold Class, but damn IJ4 would be an awesome movie to see in Gold Class! Lucky bitch! ;)
VL - I can say it was DAMN fine in Gold Class (we had the mixed skewer platter, other half had a sundae & I enjoyed a latte). The comfy chairs (um don't know the style but I'll say those lounge ones you can adjust the back & footrest) just added :P. (Sorry couldn't help myself ).
IJ4 was a damn fine ride (though I'm curious as all hell for the deleted scenes - apparently the 1st cut was 30-40 mins overtime...)
Oh I read somewhere (I think the Great White Snark) that somewhere in the US was going to trial the concept of Gold Class cinemas. :D I was so surprised to hear the land of Hollywood didn't have it.
Tony saw another Kung Fu trailer & I'm still entranced & even the teen is keen to come along to it.

Okay, now you're just being mean. I know you're a hellgoddess and all, but that's just cruel.
It'd be awesome to get Gold Class over here! You'd think we'd have stuff like that, and maybe in the Hollywood area we do, but in normal middle America we dont.
Was the prior HULK movie that bad, that they made a new one so soon? I know I saw the other one but I don't remember it at all. I am tempted to see the new one just just because Edward Norton is in it. I think he is a remarkable actor and this is so different for him! I also harbor a small crush 8-)

Oooooh, Watchmen lookin' good...though I still don't know if it's a wise idea. You can't turn EVERYTHING into a movie, you know...(though they sure are trying)...I wonder when will we get an original movie. You know, one that isn't based on anything, just on itself. It's been awhile since I've seen one of those...

Have you seen the movie JUNO? I'm fairly certain that's not based on anything, but I could be wrong. Either way it's a VERY good film.

If these Gold Class theaters are places that serve real food and stuff with tables in the theaters and crap like that, then, yeah, there are some in the US. My friend Bert goes to one all the time in Texas.
Me, I dunno if I could watch a movie with plates clinking and people trying to eat in the dark.

I've heard that they are pushing up the release date for Iron Man 2.
iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America and soon Avengers. sounds like a few good summer movies in the future with also an Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Ant-Man, and GI Joe movie in the works. Marvel is definitely going all out. ;)
The up & coming down here I wanna go see *stomps foot lightly, to avoid building collapsing* are: Wanted, The Forbidden Kingdom & dang nabit I forgot the other one :? .

I know it's a continuing theme with me lately, but I can't wait to see Twilight. I wasn't going to mention it until I saw a couple others had. I'm also excited about Harry Potter 6. God, I'm such a geek!

Val - I can't wait for the next Harry Potter, I saw a trailer for it on MSN and got all excited! Also want to see Terminator Salvation.
Was quite looking forward The Forbidden Kingdom, but it's not being screened anywhere near me!

Haven't seen the trailer yet for the new HP. On my list of things to see.
I'm still looking forward to seeing Wanted - is that scary or not :? ?
Forbidden Kingdom wasn't bad - not brilliant but not bad either. Fave scene was as expected - fight between Jackie & Jet 8-) .
Think I may be getting away with not seeing X Files .
