I was thinking about this while reading some comics yesterday, how cool is it that comics based on TV shows are being written by their TV writers. Wildstorm has been publishing Supernatural comics written by Peter Johnson, one of the co-executive producers on the show. And Johnson is co-writing the new Chuck comic with series writer Zev Barlow. And Battlestar Galactica: Origins is written (most of the time) by series writter Seamus Kevin Fahey. Can't forget Heroes, can we? And in the "Rumors that Will Never Die" catagory is Veronica Mars: Season Four by that guy from Matchbox 20.
Yeah, I don't have a clue who these guys are, but they work on the shows. In the past it was kind of a crap shoot on whether or not the comics would suck. Now I think we're getting more good than bad.
Plus there's that Josh Weaton guy doing his thing.
Now if only we can get some good artists on these books.
