Any thoughts on the new season? That last few minutes of hour 4. Wow...

I've never been a big fan of 24, watched in on and off last season. Watched the full 4 hours this season, the only thing that really got me was the last 20 minutes Monday. Did Curtis die?

Yep, Curtis saw his last on the show. I loved that moment not because of the violence but because of what it did to Jack. They've never show Jack really broken (always Super-Jack). It was nice to see that six days and everything in between finally has had the effect it would have on a normal human...

I'm actually not too hyped about 24 after the first 4 hours this season. The subject matter is pertinent but the way the epidodes are written...
-we are shown how fear can turn into blind prejudice and how innocents can be hurt
-in the next minute we are shown how the so-called 'innocents' are not innocents ...so we are back to square one in a sense.
-not happy about Curtis and that Jack was put into such a position.
-all the new people at the headquarters seem like bad guys to me...ROTF. I miss poor one-dimensional Edgar:(
-I liked D.B. Woodside as the President's bro...but he sure hasn't impressed me in his new role as the Prez.
-I can only hope that the writers know what they unleased with that nuclear bomb and the fallout...literally.
On the upside, I love Regina King so I hope her character gets better.
-I REALLY like the actor who plays Hassad (he was in SYRIANA) and I can only hope that he STAYS on the tainted good side!! I could easily become a Bassad shipperB)

On the country radio station this morning, the \"win tickets for something\" contest was to name Walker, Texas Ranger's first name, Cordell apparently, if you're interested.
When the contestant got it right, they asked who would win in a fight between Walker and Jack Bauer, the lady answered Bauer, and the radio station played a clip of Jack saying:
\"The only reason you're still conscious is that I don't want to have to carry you.\"
I laughed and laughed and laughed. Then I remembered that I missed the show last night watching Heroes. I really need a TIVO.
