nothing. But I am reading my house for guests ;) I so have to clean the spare room and get it in livable shape.
It may take some time or I could throw a bunch of stuff in a laundry basket and there you have it clean!

Oh...just stuff everything into a closet and enjoy:whistle: With the Swim Club, housecleaning is almost non-existent for me:unsure: If those guests show up here. they will just have to see the mess and then I'll have the dogs eat them. My secret will be safeB)

guest came and it was great! Now they are on their way back towards you Myth.
Wow watching Robin Hood losing myself in laudry abyss and readying myself for a trip to Myth's neck of the woods in a few days.
Hope all is well with you.
Is anyone else looking forward to Harry Potter? Hello am I the only harry geek left?

Yes Ramones....I am looking forward to HP. I plan to see TRANSFORMERS today. Love my action flicks and I adore Shia LeBeouf.
Guests are coming in on Wednesday. We will do a late breakfast and then I'll bring them back to the Club. Unfortunately I can't be a great hostess because my days run 12 to 14 hours especiallt now with my mother and daughter gone for 3 weeks. I just plan on letting them see the messes. Hope they can stay for a swim and a burger!!
My mom made last minute arrangements to attend a spa a/k/a a 'fat farm' for 3 weeks. She really needs to take off at least 20 pounds to start her on her diet. Alexis went with her because mom didn't want to be alone. Alexis will do a 'detox' juice fast and then occupy her time hiking, kayaking and reading. They called yesterday when they got there (it's luxurious) and they already put my mother on her juice fast. She had tomato juice for dinner. It took a half hour to control my laughter. This is the woman who survives on meat and all kinds of fattening foods. Those poor people at the spa....they don't know what they got themselves in for:laugh:

juice for dinner:blink: LMAO I can only imagine. I have taken to eating all the Clementines in my house. I think I have changed the acidity in my body. I bet I could rust metal with my spit.
Laundry monster is eating away at my soul! How many dirty pairs of socks and underpants do my family own? I think they are all going commando and brought me all they own and not what I asked for just the dirty ones. I hate prepping for a trip.
I would love to go to a spa! Have someone fix me even juice for supper and work my ass off just as long as I would not have to do laundry or dishes.
Give the travelers a hug and smooch for me and I bet they would love a swim and a burger.
Well off to find missing files and take ina shower. I am working form home.
Oh yes and the new Bourne flick Ultimatum looks great.
I tried to get my family to go see Harry Potter with me Wed night but no such luck since we leave on Thursday. Well at least I have the book on preorder at Borders.

Ozgirl: Gift certificate for a dinner or drinks out to a nice place. OR maybe movie tickets or something so they can spend time together is a good anniversary gift. Or just clean their house for them and make them supper. Always worked for me when I had no $$.
Have a nice night.

Lone - I'm too cheap for the doggie spa idea:laugh:
Daddy - tomato juice does nothing. You need one quart of hydrogen peroxide, quater cup of baking soda and some liquid soap. Mix all this together and scrub into fur and leave on for 10 minutes then a warm rinse. it works great. Guess it's obvious that I have done this before. Sigh.
Nora - There is no stench like Nora stench. Damn....what a title for a song:P It could be the theme for the next apocalyptic movieB)

Post edited by: Myth, at: 2007/07/21 15:07

Is it just my computer or is the NSACC thread out of whack for posting???? I can't post a reply there at all.
Ramones - I can only hope that someone from the UK will be kind enough to post on Youtube. I wonder if it can even be done without getting into trouble. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Is it just me or is Gerard Butler getting better looking? I mean, I always drooled but now you can call me NiagrAB) ;) :P

Post edited by: Myth, at: 2007/07/25 17:23

Hello, all. Finally making it in here to post and say hello. I wish that there were more to be posting about. Basically, aside from the exciting virus that I had, not so much has been happening lately. Mostly trying to keep up (and maybe get ahead) at work a little.
It feels a bit ruttish, to be honest, which I hate. Trying to find a way to find another groove. I miss the excitement that the NB brought but eyes at work are getting very wandering so I don't post from there.
My friends here in K-Town have been fun hanging with. Seen lots of movies lately, read HP7 and am prepping for Dragon*Con. That usually tends to get me out of any rut I'm in. PLUS, I'm going on my first real vacation since I went to Hawaii in 2003. The destination this time?
VEGAS, baby!
Still a few more weeks to slog through. Maybe then I'll be back a little more. Hope everyone is well.

It RAINED last night.....and it left puddles:woohoo: I don't have to water my flowers:woohoo: The trees look happy:woohoo:
Nora - no rain for a year:ohmy: Good grief!! I can't imagine that. My son was reading a report on the projected weather for Michigan in the near future (within 10 years) and we are going to have drought for the summers and rain for the winters. I can't picture this since I grew up with snow drifts. It will be sad if this happens.
Emums says hello. She had a root canal and called me after taking a pain pill....so she was good for a 5 minute convo before she passed out. What a wuss!!
Seven - you'll have to look up Wish when you're in Vegas. Glad to hear you're going to have another vacation!! What happens in Vegas....heads to HMC and stays here:P

Post edited by: Myth, at: 2007/07/27 15:32

Indeed, I will, Myth. I don't think I've ever met Wish so twould be interesting to meet another hound. I am going to crank up the old Dragon*Con thread again. I know Don and VampireLady will be there this year and I'm sure Eric, Matt et al will be, too. I am hoping a few more show since Spike and Drusilla are going to be there.
This day really needs to end. The Cali end of my job is being a pain today. I mean a pain, too. *sigh*
Very laid back weekend coming up, I think. Most of my friends here are headed out of town. I'm thinking about going to a new place in town that has Mediteranean food and belly dancers. Hey, did I tell you all that I went to see a friend belly dance and one of the other (single) belly dancers wants to meet me after we talked a bit? :woohoo: Who'd a thunk that?
Nora, glad the vertigo is leaving. I'm still weak from this stuff. It's been a MONTH!

Post edited by: Seven, at: 2007/07/27 21:32

Hello, NBers! Sorry I've been MIA for so long. I've been dragging my kids to lessons and camps and all the usual summer activities. I actually taught vacation Bible school last week! Eeeek! What has happened to me?!!!? Help! I'm stuck in suburban hell! Hey, wasn't that the whole point of Buffy? The suburbs are hell? ;)
Ok...I'll admit the other reason I've been gone lately. I'm half way through Harry Potter 7...ummm...for the second time. Well, it should come as no surprise to you guys that I'm a big, huge geek! EMBRACE YOUR INNER GEEK, PEOPLE! What? Me? Defensive?

Ramones - LOL! It's good to know I'm not alone! I almost feel like I'm in a HPA meeting (Harry Potter Anonymous). \"My name is Val and I'm a Harry Potter addict.\" Is this the place where I admit I'm forcibly restraining myself from going to see Order of the Phoenix for the second time. I want to see it again so badly I can taste it...but a new heating and cooling system for my house this fall means I shouldn't spend the money. *pout*
Nora and Seven - What disease are you two spreading around? *Val walks out of NB and returns wearing a surgical mask and spraying Lysol.* ;)

Hey everyone
how is it going?
Hope everyone had a good weekend.
What's a good way to go to the Beijing Olympics. Well, I saw it on Japan news this morning that they have a panda airline :-P and even the pilots are dressed up as pandas. What do the airport guiders use to put a panda airline into the hangar. Why a huge branch of bamboo of course :-P LMAO. Yes, they were actually using that to guide the airline in :-P
Also on more panda related news :-P, the chinese will make the olympic trinkets out of panda poo :-P. Of course the more expensive trinkets will have a panda hair as well. :-P.
Ah, you can imagine your 10 year old at the Beijing games when you buy them those trinkets.
\"Look mommy, I have a toy made out of real panda pooo and it doesn't smell YAY!!!!!\"
All this panda news in one day :-P LMAO
