Organised fandom support makes sense to me with people like Whedon, various Buffy writers and actors like Alyson showing up on the picket lines and presenting their side of the dispute. As a fan, those are the people I know and follow; but I would be hard pressed to name anyone on the other side of the negotiations. I saw where Alyson walked the line for about 3 hours and used her time there to pass out her leftover Halloween Candy
