I watched BIG SHOTS on ABC for a few weeks in September and it really wasn't good but it was in one of those time slots when there was nothing else on. Anyway, I thought it got canceled. One of the male characters is always checking in with his wife who is always calling and asking for things. The character seemed very henpecked. Well, with the writer's strike, ABC aired a new episode last night and lo and behold 'The wife' who has never been seen was played by Charisma Carpenter. I bet she was relieved that the episode where she makes an appearance finally aired!!! She looks good and it was actually good to see her.
I rented the movie HATCHET and Mercedes Mc Nab was in it. Yep it is a slasher, gasher, bloody horror film but it was also quirky fun. I found myself laughing more in this film than with most 'so-called' comedies I have seen lately. MM plays a dizzy valley girl actress wannabe who bares her bosom on cue while filming scenes for a 'Girls gone wild' type video called 'Bayou Beavers\"...... The movie takes place in Louisiana......get it???? She was decent and not much of a stretch from Harmony. The body ripping bloody parts are exaggerated on purpose....but if you are squeamish, then don't rent.
