It was fuckin' awesome, man! Loved it...it was hokey, but it was cool. I loved the whole thing.

Man, I wish they'd make a Justice League show with those characters. I think that would be pretty cool...hell, Oliver Queen could hold his own show together, if you ask me. Very complex character...in many ways a lot like Batman. Parents died, symbolic thing in childhood becomes symbol of justice in adulthood, etc.

And I just want to state for the record, I've loved Erica Durance since the first episode she appeared in as Lois....but may I just add, she was just smokin' more than ever tonight and it may have been her best performance as well.

Loved how Chloe was the look out. She's turning out to be a pretty damn good sidekick for Clark to have around.

Awesome episode...by far the best of the season, and up there in terms of best of all-time for the mythology purposes alone. If you add the fact that they put a legit and purposeful storyline with it, it's gotta be up there.

Not to mention written& directed by former BTVS alum, Steve DeKnight.

Yeah Ollie's pretty much a Bats sub - heck, Chloe was even pulling Oracle duty in the Watchtower!

Darn hard to comment when Sir Poohbah has already made most of the points that I wanted to make :pinch: I too am a big fan of Erica on the show - too bad she did not get to model the green outfit. So far she is my favorite Lois out of the Superman shows I have seen. Also like Poohbah I got a real kick out of Chloe's part in the action. I hope that if there is an Oliver/Justice League spin off they include her.
Note: If I understand the ads correctly, I think a show with Oliver is in the works.

Next weeks preview looked like \"Normal Again\"

Smallville scored its best ratings of the season with last night's \"Justice\" episode.

edited because I forgot to spell check

Got a source that says that this MIGHT be the last year for Smallville to be replaced by a Justice League show (the CW is batting that around). And yes, Justice was friggin cool...

Justice rocked!!! Enjoyed the team coming together.

It could have been better if there was a Bat involved in the group :P

Justice League or Society should be interesting if they decide to carry the storyline further during the season

Yeah, it's amazing how up and down smallville can be. Last week was one of the best episodes, and last night was maybe one of the worst. Definitely the worst of the season. It was a blatant rip-off. I mean, you change \&quot;Phantom\&quot; with \&quot;Glargagul Gashminick\&quot; and you have Normal Again.

The only thing I liked about it was the Martian Manhunter reappearing to help Clark, and Chloe's role (as per the norm these days)....other than that, it was complete and utter turd sandwich.

You know, I saw the Buffy rip-off but I still kind of dug this episode. I dug it in the same sense that I dug the Lexmas episode. It was an old school (70s and 80s) comic book-style show.

The Lexmas eppy reminded me of the Holiday specials that Marvel is still doing and DC used to do. This one reminded me of some Supes books I saw in the 70s. I wouldn't go this far since Buffy's influence is felt indirectly and with some of the Buffy writers writing Smallville now, directly, but I have to wonder (since Buffy is based on comic book heroes as well if the influence isn't older than the Buffy eppy.

In other words, I wonder if both these Buffy and Smallville episodes weren't both influenced by the comics from which they were drawn...

And yes, MM rocked. Chloe also rocked. And you know why I think Chloe has rocked from the 4th season on, Matt? Her acting really started improving and her roles got meatier about the same time. She's grown a lot and in my opinion probably has the most ability to reach shades of a character than anyone else on the show now.

Tonight was a clear Buffy ripoff!
It was a blatant rip-off.
Well since Charmed had a wider audience than Buffy I think it was a rip-off of the Charmed episode where Piper was in the mental institution doubting which reality was real. But then there was a lot of talk about how that Charmed episode was a Buffy rip-off.

If this were a concept that had originated with BTVS I would scream rip-off too. However I am with Seven on this, I saw the Buffy resemblance but I think the concept predates Smallville predates Charmed predates BTVS. I thought BTVS did a superior take on it when compared to Smallville and feel this ep of Smallville was mediocre.

I also thought Chloe was the high light of the show.

Hope this doesn't double post - my computer locked up then I was told I wasn't logged in even though I had :(<br><br>Post edited by: Fogey, at: 2007/01/26 23:27
