Morning, all. We've gained 10 degrees today and it's actually liveable outside...

Today is just a wee bit better than yesterday. With the wind chill factor, we're at -19 below:blink: I can't believe that our school district had school today. There were news reports all day yesterday showing the mechanics starting up the school buses every 4 hours so that they would start today. Sheesh....just let the kids have the day off!! I can't imagine parents letting their kids stand outside waiting for a bus this morning.

Still verrrrry cold but the temps are are up a little. Thank goodness the sun has been out all week or it would have been horrible.

Ramones left this morning for Chicago to board the plane for New Zealand. Hope she has a safe and wonderful trip.

Must go out and bring the dogs back in. Bless their little hearts....they have been so busy protecting the world from the evil squirrels in their yard.

Wow, I hadn't noticed that we were still in the January NB, either. Well, it turns out that my feeling like a monkey's hinder for the last few weeks had a cause. I have a lovely case of sinusitis compouned with an inner ear infection. Nice, huh?

Yeah I noticed that last week about the thread but was to lazy to do anything about it.

Speaking of Monkey, is it wrong that Barry grabbed Monkey from behind the other day and started swaying her and singing the \&quot;Milkshake song?\&quot;:huh: ...she was displeased.

I should be disturbed by that, but I find it incredibly amusing.:laugh:
