Saw Scoop:
Gotta say really pretty fun and enjoyable. Jackman was beautiful and very good. SJ is drop dead pretty and does a good girl really well and I know I will take some rotten veggies tossed for this one but I am not a huge fan of Woody Allen, (just a personal thing about the whole over the top whiney voice thing he does) but haivng said that he did not annoy me all that much in the film and actually I found him the most enertaining he has been since maybe Annie Hall for me. Also I got to see ASH. He was a detective on site of one of the killings.

I really liked his take on Match Point as well. It was a well crafted film and I actually like that one as well. I guess I like Allen behind the camera where his dialog, intelligence and skills fit my tastes the best, without having to hear his voice.

Well that's it off to see Devil weras Prada.

Got to see The devil wears Prada. What a fun film and Meryl Streep was amazing in it. I think it has been some of her best work in awhile. I really enjoyed this filim. I know it is geared more towards the ladies but I gotta say it was a fun fun film. Well done. Was really worth the money.

rented Venom...kevin williamson (scream, dawson's creek) flick about voodoo and a possesed killer...not bad...but not great

also saw final destination 3...it's ok if you're a fan of the other 2, but come on, how many movies can you make about not dying and then death coming after you but if you can make it skip you then you're ok...the dvd did have a neat feature where you can "choose their fate" and you can decide what the characters do and you'll get a different scene...kinda neat...but this was a straight to dvd release...

Rented INSIDE MAN. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. The bonus for me was actor Chiwetel Ejiofor...I think he is amazing and everyone here should know who he is from SERENITY...he played the 'operative'. I've followed his career since PRETTY DIRTY THINGS and his acting never disappoints. Decent story with twists and turns and, as always, Christopher Plummer is a treat. Oh Ramones...your Clive was good too Wink

Finally watched LEMONY SNICKET'S A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS as well as CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. I enjoyed LEMONY and could see it as a good film for kids. I stayed away from this flick because of Jim Carrey. I used to love him but got so tired of him and the overacting. I liked him in this movie. The child actors were wonderful and the babywas just adorable. I wouldn't mind having that big black lovable viper as a pet Very Happy CHARLIE was pretty 'meh' for me. I did like the child actor who played Charlie and David Kelly is always great. I did not like Johnny Depp's weird take on the character of Willie. I enjoyed WILLIE WONKA and Gene Wilder soooooooooooooooooooo much more.

Ramones - I liked THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA TOO. Streep was amazing and I liked how she looked for the role. Emily Blunt is a find!! Oh...and then there was Simon Baker....slurp Cool

PULSE - The sacrifices I won't make to keep a family member happy Crying or Very sad I sat through this...eep, ack, ugh, meh. Okay....I didn't like it. Another remake of a Japanese (?) flick. I sure wish Hollywood would quit doing this or at least pick something better. I will admit that it was an interesting premise, but still...ick. Too bad since I like Kristin Bell.

RV - rented it. I knew the reviews were bad but hey, I don't usually agree with critics. I found myself smiling and even laughing. It was a decent flick to rent and watch at home when there was nothing else to do. Robin Williams was okay...he didn't go overboard.

Now for another mindless flick that probably deserves all the bad reviews....SCARY MOVIE 4. About to watch it...... Shocked Confused

I've seen Snakes On A Plane twice since Thursday.

Hoshit. Amazing. A comic masterpiece. But not for those that don't like snakes, planes, gore, and keanan thompson.

SNAKES ON A PLANE - All the hype said that it is soooooooooo bad, that it is 'cult' good. I thought it was pretty good. It was fun, icky and entertaining. It is especially great going to this flick with someone who gets visibly ill when seeing snakes..... Twisted Evil

STEP UP - If it's a dance movie...I go see it. My weakness. It was decent. Yep it is cliched, predictable but doable in a theater seat for and hour and a half. The last dance scene was great. Geez...Channing Tatum sure seems to make all the teenage girls drool and moan....I think I missed some dialogue Laughing
