No way...Batman isn't some goody Superman who helps the police and does press confrences! The Joker isn't some idiot who takes orders but likes to tell jokes! Unless there's no resemblence whatsoever between the Batman of the last 25 years and the Batman of the 50's and 60's. Which I find pretty hard to believe, since Batman started out in Detective Comics, which means he was a dark, noirish, INTELLIGENT character. But if you say so...Rolling Eyes

Tony: well now you have to watch Escape from L.A....same plot...louder...funner in a certain sense....both belong to their eras and cities....(and where else are you going to have Peter Fonda, Pam Grier, Clif Robertson and Steve Buscemi all in the same movie? Very Happy)

LA_Surfing the tsunami with Snake and Peter Fonda. Twisted Evil

Tones, check out the greatest Batman stories of the 50s and see what I mean - should be available in a TPB someplace.

Saw Impromptu tonight - underated flick with Judy Davis as George Sand and Hugh (believe it or not) Grant as Chopin. Suppoprting cast alone worth the price of admission.

You can buy "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" on DVD at Wal-mart for like, ten bucks, too. At least, you can around here.

What I want to know is why the heck "Mr Smith Goes To Washington" costs $24 though. What's with that?

What a Girl Wants- I loooooved this terribly cheesey movie! Amanda was too cute and Colin Firth dancing in leather pants is rather price-less rollin'

Ghost Ship- HORRIBLE! WHY WAS IT MADE? rollin'

Valentine- Second time I saw it. . .first time was better. David was. . .well, all blah. . .hot but blah. . .but I've seen worse.

Jeepers Creepers- Third time I saw it. . . .picked up on some small things. . .found out it was filmed just down the road from where I live. . .LOL. . .well portions of it.

Identity- FOURTH Time I watched it and it's the first time I really understood it. I liked it. . .Mmmm John Wink

Lord of the Rings The Two Towers. . .I just like the lil guy who says "my precious" that's about it. . .JRR was on a major bad acid trip when he wrote this series Laughing Razz

Roger and Me- Uh. . . .that was a good laugh Razz Interesting, but it's MM. . .so yeah Rolling Eyes

Basic- JOHN TRAVOLTA. . .in the shower. . .mama mia. . .rollin' It's alright. . .not really that great. . .it's just killing time before the next movie Razz

I've got free HBO all weekend, I'm planning on catching up on a few movies Laughing Razz

Cabin Fever- I asked Vibes last night if I should watch it and I should've taken his advice in skipping out. But alas I watched it. Mostly for the old crush of Ryder Strong. Bad move. The movie was completely retarded. I laughed if anything.

Malibu's Most Wanted- Jamie Kennedy is a weird duck. The movie made me laugh but I'm glad I didn't spend money to see it at the theater, it just wasn't that good Razz Laughing

Ah, I love Free HBO weekends Very Happy Razz

Now watching The Ring, again. Love this movie for some odd reason. . .scares me a lil. . .Razz

Saw TUNES OF GLORY - FINE performances by Alec Guiness and John Mills as competing colonels in a scottish regiment. Directed the way a film should be directed by Ronald Neame.

Zatoichi is Shinatro Katsu, Tones - especially after 26 feature films but Ill check out "Beat" Takeshi's version eventually. If you havent seen the original Ichi check him out - awesome and then some.

HBO...Deadwood.

Have you seen it?

I've watched 2 eps (on vacation up in Minnesota - at my cousins house now). It's well written but the language! Holy Hell! Does anyone know (Wretch) if they actually used the "F" word back in the 1870's??? They throw it around like a "shit" or a "damn" flies today. Shocked Just curious. I know it was a rough time in history but I didn't think they used the "F" word back then!!! I'm trying to convince my cousin to check out the Buffy series, if he just gives it a chance I know he'd be hooked, Confused

Analyze That. . .proving once again that sequels suck and cannot live up to the original. . .I was very depressed by this. Love Robert but not in this one. . .not to mention that Billy wasn't that great either. . .ugh. . .*shakes head*
