I really hate Kelly Ripa. The new Electrolux commercials make me want to slap her. She's from New Jersey for fucksake and she's SO snobby. It's so good to see everyone! What have I missed? Wait...it's probably been way too long!

I'm doing well. Still happily married to H1 (our 12th anniversary is next month). My kids are getting bigger. My baby just turned 5! I just tried going back to work full-time (It didn't work; I didn't even last two months). And I definitely miss all of my NB friends. I bet you would be surprised how much thoughts of the old gang pop into my head!

Val - no, I don't think any of us would be surprised at how often we pop into each other's heads. Hell, Fiat and Otts are gettin' hitched, others have hooked up, and from what I read in another thread, some of these folks actually know eachothers' real names. I almost used Nat when I re-registered, but then didn't. don't know why.

My oldest, btw, is 5. I remember we were pregnant at the same time (2002ish). Hee hee. Life's milestones. Glad to hear your still with H1.

OMG. Wretch. I had no idea you were the writer of all things trash. And please know that I miss Weekly World News terribly. :( I did a show called Six Women with Brain Death (or Enquiring Minds Want to Know) which was based around the WWN. We even had a song about carrying Big Foot's Love Slave.

Nat, I did over 600 stories for the WWN from 2005 until Aug 2007 so yeah I did Bat Boy, Big Foot's diet, Titanic survivors, created SpyCat and Matthew Daemon, SOS (Seeker of Obscure Supernaturals) and even ghosted Ed Anger for awhile. Some of my stories are still online at the WWN site (two of the comics are).

I did a lot of the pulp fiction cover stories like Manigator, UFOs attack Air Force and Vampires attack US Troops, Baby Anti-Christ, Next Big Depression leads to Civil War over Water - y'know -- the good stuff. ;)

I had a great time - the only place left to write science fiction pulp.

I have a million things I was supposed to do this weekend, and I haven't gotten a single one done! H1 and the kids have been out of town, and I actually got to sleep! And post! And read! All those things I never get to do. But now they're own their way home, and I have to pretend I've actually not just been sleeping and sitting around for the last three days! :roll:
