Unreal.
I had to check and make sure I hadn't been drinking heavily - I may have slipped back into 2002 on a sci-fi trip or something! Damn this is amazing!

Man like me and Broken are my faves... Is a good listen, man and his panio for the most part. He has a really good voice. His duet with Sting rocks, as does Chances Are from Ally McBeal. His version of The River, a holiday song, has me in tears sometimes.
The gang is coming back along with some of my Spuffies!!!
**kicks Nora in her arse**
Big hugs and smoochies to my darling JK. I guess Ramones emailed you before me. That girl is trigger happy
Big hugs and smoochies to my Aeryn.
I miss Spuffy too....it was the BEST ship and thanks Ramones for that last pic of Spike. Yum. Now we need some pics of GB, RDJ and who else?

Yes I am trigger happy. Who else will pole dance with me and the Spike bot? Also I am reworking a Xander bot to make me a nice RA bot. I read in one of RA's articles he refers to one reason Robin Hood is better thought after here in the states is because we get the whole suspension of belief like with"Buffy" and A knight's tale. He was saying that some of the UK viewers are too stuck in historical ruts.
Well I have to say my kudo points for that man went way up as well as the fact he was shirtless in episode 3. WOW chesticles.
Oh yes and JK: Hot hot hto was the Kiss Kiss bang bang episodes of Torchwood. When I saw the strut I was all a flutter!!! How could I not like those cheek bones. This is a picture from the BBC of our Captain John with Captain Jack. [image]

That JM/Spike strut is one of the sexiest EVER. Really. When I saw JM on TORCHWOOD and he did his Spike swagger and attitude, it was like coming home. I know some gals are going all aflutter over the new vamp guy on MOONLIGHT and although I think he is cute, I can't stand his 'wide-legged' walk. Yep, I am strange(shut up Nora). I so much preferred Kyle Schmid as vamp Henry on BLOODLINES/BLOODTIES. If that show made to regular channels instead of Lifetime, that show was so much better that MOONLIGHT for me at least.
Re TORCHWOOD.... I think the actor who plays Capt. Jack is gay. I just wish the writers on TORCHWOOD weren't always trying to push this button or that button to be so 'progressive' or 'shocking'. It really messed up the story telling for me. I really hoped that TORCHWOOD would have been great for S2. I much preferred S1.

Ramones put up that other promo pic of JM where he is standing with the guns. That one is goooood. The man still looks good for his age and I love the compact muscular body still.
I was surprised that I enjoyed P.S. I LOVE YOU. I was expecting nothing so it was a pleasant surprise. DEAR FRANKIE is a classic for me.

Why am I not surprised to see my soulsis go put up a pic of that whacky T/wood duo  . The shock, the horror LMAO.
Ramones, you seen the end of the season yet? I lose track of which country sees what and when.
Moonlight....sorry my brain can't remember stuff beyond 2 pages these days (damn brain), Nora or Myth or hell who was it??? Oh well - moving on. Moonlight *shudder, sputter, closing eyes*. Does that get any better??? To quote everyone's beloved Spikey - "he's clearly insipid" (the fact I can STILL do that years later is just wrong, scary & poor LegoKing will definitely be in therapy over it when he realises he needs therapy about it :o )
Down here they sped through the seasons - kinda & then went & put them on hiatus. My jury is still out on that one (as it is btw for T/wood).
Sorry Ramones, I'm still holding off that Robin Hood - my other half owns it but I've so many things to watch......
Glori - I was the one who mentioned MOONLIGHT. I am not a fan. I preferred BLOODTIES. I shuddered at the end of TORCHWOOD for S2. Good grief it was all over the place and mostly for shock value. I do not care for John Barrowman who plays Captain Jack. I guess my biggest disappointment is that I have not felt any kind of liking or 'bonding' with a character on that show and I don't feel the cast meshing. A shame really because I rather liked S1. BTW...hugs girl...nice to see you again.

I gotta say I like Moonlight not as much as some but better than Blood ties too much for me that one.
Yes I saw Twood ending and I am still stunned I am so over the give then what they need instead of what we want. I am tired of the shock factor. It was nice to JM in something...
Yes and WATCH the Hood I say woman You think JM is hot in leather you need to see RA in leather it is amazing.

Ramones - I found out that I can get Robin Hood on Demand....so I kind of filed that info away so I can sit and maybe watch 3 or 4 eps at a time. I liked BLOODTIES w/ the strong female lead who is stubborn & emotionally conflicted. Kyle Scmid who played Henry was adorable. I hope he gets more parts because I think he will age wonderfully. I also liked the quirky secretary. MOONLIGHT is pretty stupid and blah but I do watch. Once again I will say that I hate the way the lead actor walks. Ick.

I know, no vamp so far has been JM but I take what I can get. I know lame but true.
Just that Blood ties for me was far to Lifetime Network. I like the detective spin. I also miss Dresden.
Hey have you read Twilight? It is really pretty darn good for mild vamp stuff.

I didn't like DRESDEN if I must be honest. It was okay and my favorite character turned out to be Bob despite the human form :o So not the book version. The lead actor looked so terribly uncomfortable in the role.....he just wasn't Dresdan to me. Now I have seen him in other shows and movies and I like him....just not as Dresden. I've heard JM do the audio for these books and his voice was just perfect and I think he would have brought life to the role but he was considered too short for the 6'5" Dresden. The funny thing is....the height thing never came into play on the series that I can remember.
I expected atrocious for BLOODTIES since it was Lifetime but it was better than I thought it would be. The special effects were lame but still better than on DRESDEN.
The Southern Vamp series will be starting sometime soon on cable....I believe Showtime. Have you read the Sookie books? I've read 3 or 4 but I always find that I want to slap the crapski out of these female lead characters!!! I quit reading LKH's Anita Blake series some time ago because I wanted to choke Anita and I wanted to choke LKH for making Anita such a ho. I mean, I like some NC-17 in a book but it was just getting gutter pornish. It was disgusting and took away from the story telling and LKH could write some fine action....of the non-sexual.

I am the worst about reading Vamp fiction.
Only series and I have sampled them all that caught my fancy was Twilight. It is more Vamp lite with some angst. Cannot explain why I liked it but I did. Antia Blake made me sick too NC17 never read Sookie. so not sure. I did like the Historian. That was good.
I will do some Sookie CH reading this summer. I have seen the books but never actually picked them up.
I cannot explain why I like Dresden in the Paul Blackthorne incarnation It just did. I have to admit I never heard any of JM's voice work so I had nothing to go on there.
I will look for the southern Vamp series and see what it is all about. I am looking for some reading I finished the Montmorency books and now I need something. (keep quiet I hear the bad thoughts)

Do not read the Sookie Southern Vamp series. I barely made it through the first book. The main character is too much of a Mary Sue and I just never understood why/how she fell in love with the vampire. It's like they see each other once and that was it. The author never did a good job of explaining the connection/attraction. Book made me want to vomit with how innocent the main character was. She's in her early twenties and has the life experience/mentality of a 12 year old.
Twilight caught your fancy 'cause it's good. Simple as that.
VL you are right it was good. I even loved the angst of Jacob (and we know his darkside...just incase Myth wants to read it I won't spoil it for her although it is easy figured out)
I still wondered (being a vampophile) how she could even consider anyone but Edward. I love their story. and you are right it is good and well written.

She kind of didn't really. Not consciously, at least. It was pretty much pushed onto her and it took a lot for her to realize, but there was still no choice.
EMums loved the Southern Vamp series. Like I said...I wanted to slap Sookie silly. I never could fathom how Sookie could fall for Bill and then carry such a torch. Personally, I liked the blond bad ass vamp. Read Harrison's book. Yes....you may want to slap the lead female sometimes but the writing and action is great and the reader pay-off is wonderful. Book 3 pissed me off but harrison redeemed herself in the fourth. I hope the cable series will be decent.
I simply adore the NIGHTSIDE series by Simon Green. What an atrociously wonderful world he creates.
So, Montmorecy....good?
Now....since we are supposed to be naughty here. Did you see Jeffrey Dean Morgan's sweet bum in P.S. I Love You?? Those were sweet buns of sheer joy :D
Oh, and JM is one of the lead characters in the DRAGONBALL Z movie coming out this fall. He plays the bad guy and JM does bad sooooooooooooooooooo well.
