Happy May 1st everyone! I was checking my e-mail while listening to the Buffy soundtrack, and it made me miss my dear NBers. I thought I'd stop in and say hi. No pouts from me today. It's too beautiful here today. I even took Ryan to the park this morning. We walked the mile and a half around the lake. Well, actually, I walked the mile and a half around the lake. He walked about half the way and then wanted me to carry him the rest of the way. I don't mind adding a little weight to my workout...but 40 pounds!?! I know, \"You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.\" Superchicken fans out there? Anyone? Anyone? Gee, I feel old! :laugh:

Rainy, chilly and thunderstorms here. Val! It has been so long since I've seen your face, heard your voice, whtaever. I think, actually, it's been about 4 years... as we have kids who are just about the same age now. Eeek!

Anyway, not to just say hi to you, but also to Myth and Otts. I am going to put some effort into hanging out at the hellmouth more often.

I finally broke down and bought Season 1 of Angel, have made my Buffy series complete, and have been thinking about the NB threat a lot.

Everything is good here. I'm currently mired in plans for Ryan's 4th birthday...Thomas the Train theme, of course. I'm also planning a Brownie troop BBQ for later this month as well. Gee, what an exciting suburban mom life I do lead. Did everyone get the sarcasm? I worked really hard on that sarcasm.

Myth - I can understand how you feel about those pesky weeds. I was out in my flowerbeds not too long ago with a hoe. That was hoe...H-O-E, for those of you with a sophmoric sense of humor...wait, isn't that all NBers? ;)

Much sunshine to be had here but still a bit chilly...which I love. I have a weekend of painting a swimming pool with my kids and helping hubby clean out his garage. He's a pat rat pig:S I've been in a weed killing fury and it will continue because of the 3 acres. I pretty much attack the weeds and leave everything else as natural and 'green' as possible.

Oh cruises are the best. Boyfriend and I took one last year with his son, but this year we were alone! How old are your kids again? Kids actually LOVE cruises too. They have some great kids programs that they really enjoy and it gives you the chance to be alone some. I'd wait until your youngest is about 5 or 6 though. But it is so worth it!!!!! :side:

Hello, everyone. Sorry I've been MIA. I've been avoiding a circulating virus that's been around for about 2 months now, but it finally caught me. I'm feeling much better now, still not much of an appetite but not as feverish.

TV - Elizabeth is 7 and Ryan just turned 4...can you believe it? I can't imagine Ryan on a cruise ship right now. Well, I can, but all I can see is him tumbling over the rail!:ohmy:

Oz - The party went well. I'm really just glad it's over. Ryan had a good time, so that's the most important thing, right? This was his very first friend party. Hmmm... I guess that means he'll expect another one next year, huh? :blink:

Students are gearing up for the summer and I have a new hove free from Big brother and the BIA. I am now state owned and online at the Uni.

We had the Gin Blossoms here last night. The music was good but the crowd was horrid. Really ruined the experience. It's pretty much becoming a social event for high school and college age people that has nothing to do with listening to the music. Annoying...

Figured I'd pop in and give y'all an update.

Well, someone got fired in my office and I got hella promoted. I've been so busy during the day I barely have time to breathe. I hired anothe admin assistant who is just AWESOME. We laugh all day and get everything done. The guys at work are whistling zippa dee do dah out their asses it's such a dramatic change in atmosphere its like we're all on happy pils.

I'm making a lot more money, sleeping like the dead and things are going really, really well right now.:woohoo:

I miss you all a lot and with HMC not being updated anymore, it really saddens me. :(
