Ok, I haven't been around, so I don't know if anyone else has brought this up. I've heard that Peter's haircut via Sylar was brought on by real-life functionality problems. Peter's hair was giving the editors fits when they were trying to put scenes together. I guess his hair kept looking like it had a life of its own.

Yeah I want to see how he gets out of this one even if I am not a fan of his do.

Peters Song

She asks me why
I'm just a hairy guy
I'm hairy noon and night
Hair that's a fright
I'm hairy high and low
Don't ask me why
Don't know
It's not for lack of break
Like the Grateful Dead
Darling

Gimme head with hair
Long beautiful hair
Shining, gleaming,
Streaming, flaxen, waxen

Give me down to there hair
Shoulder length or longer
Here baby, there mama
Everywhere daddy daddy

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair

Let it fly in the breeze
And get caught in the trees
Give a home to the fleas in my hair
A home for fleas
A hive for bees
A nest for birds
There ain't no words
For the beauty, the splendor, the wonder
Of my...

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair

I want it long, straight, curly, fuzzy
Snaggy, shaggy, ratty, matty
Oily, greasy, fleecy
Shining, gleaming, streaming
Flaxen, waxen
Knotted, polka-dotted
Twisted, beaded, braided
Powdered, flowered, and confettied
Bangled, tangled, spangled, and spaghettied!

Oh say can you see
My eyes if you can
Then my hair's too short

Down to here
Down to there
Down to where
It stops by itself

They'll be ga ga at the go go
When they see me in my toga
My toga made of blond
Brilliantined
Biblical hair

My hair like Jesus wore it
Hallelujah I adore it
Hallelujah Mary loved her son
Why don't my mother love me?

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair

Post edited by: Fogey, at: 2007/03/25 06:05

Fogey - LOL! You know there are probably people here who now think you're a genius for writting such a great song about hair. ;) It's always great to hear the classics applied in new ways.

Foqua_ Oh my:laugh:

I rented ROCKY BALBOA and 'Peter' plays Stallone's son with slicked back hair. Not bad. Not bad at all:P

Well Mithy if we are looking for our Hero's in other roles B)

On TV I saw Hayden in the recently released \"B\" grade cheerleader movie :silly: \"Bring It on: All Or Nothing\". On Hero's I prefer Hayden's character to Ali's character Nikki but for acting skills I think Ali Larter could give Hayden Panettiere a few lessons. (Picked Ali for comparison as she and Hayden are the blond components of the show)

Post edited by: Fogey, at: 2007/03/27 19:08

Well...I was hoping for more...at least a bigger showdown between Peter and Sylar. Guess this was a 'build up' episode to carry us into the remaining action.

I still can't figure out if Peter's brother (I can never remember his name) is a good guy or a bad guy. Same with the mother. Are they looking forward to the blast so they can have more power in the political arena???

The dynamic with Nathan is interesting. I LOVED the talk between him and Peter about Peter being his heart and conscience basically.

Linderman having powers and referring to his generation of heroes. I am beginning to wonder if his generation didn't do something that made this generation. It would explain the family ties.

Hiro vs Future-Hiro! And what did Hiro do that changed the future so? I think that the clue to killing Sylar is in the Ninth Wonders comic book or his sketches that he passed off to the delivery guy.

What's the deal with Linderman wanting Micah?

Finally Claire meets her family...

Geeze I know Micah can fix eletronic doo dads but how can he fix Linderman's scheme gone awry? Nikki is gonna be one upset mommie where Linderman is concerned. I think this will be the key to her joining up with the Cheer Squad.

Did anyone catch a hint as to what powers Mrs Petechelli has? Maybe I should ask how to spell Petechelli instead of what her powers are? :P

I liked Hiro meeting Hiro. are we going to see multiple season enders with different outcomes each time.

Post edited by: Fogey, at: 2007/04/24 19:14

Nice eppy last night. It felt like it could have gone at least two shows. The ending felt very abbreviated. Very Days of Future Past to me as well.

The Hiro surprise was cool. Who is Molly?

Nathan-Sylar rocked. Biggest surprise of the episode. And when he took off flying in the middle of the address. Now that was a moment that could have been stretched out nicely. As was his battle with Peter.

I have a feeling these last three chapters are going to rock. And the setup for volume 2 is going to be amazing.

HELP!!!! I DVR'd the episode last night and it stop recording when Skylar and Peter were facing off with the flaming hands:ohmy: What happened after that??????? Good episode....so ditto what Seven says.

Girlie moment here....I adore geeky Hiro but I got to say that future Hiro is 'hot' with the slicked back hair and ponytail:)

Another girlie moment. Damn....Peter is hot. Damn....MV is hot!!!! Sexy scar. Yum. Here's hoping that MV gets some major movie action roles because I think he will be awesome:woohoo:

End of girlie moments and back to serious Myth:whistle:

I loved the string theory time lines. Hiro was really looking like a Hero. Peter is looking cool too. Did eveyone catch that future Nikki was pretending to be Jessica but Jessica was gone. After watching the now-voided-future where excheer leader bought the farm, I am wondering if Save the Cheer Leader - Save the World only referred to keeping Sylar from gaining the sellf healing powers that she has. i.e. leaving him vulnerable.

Curious about Molly.

I missed the first half hour....should I worry? Should I go to NBC.com and download????? For some reason I don't think anything much happened last night other than the mother-Nathan talk and Sylar killig his mom and making him want to be Prez. Oh goodness....I am so not going to mention Bush right now:blink:

Sure download all you want.
It will take your mind off Bush. :P

Lets see I think the second half hit a lot. Umm did you see Hiro Sylar confrontation where the sword was broken?

Second half included what the kids power is, that our cheerleader decided to stay & help Peter & that her grannie is in cahoots with Linderman so I don't think you are missing a lot of info by not seeing the first 1/2.

NBC has just announced a spin-off series for Heroes. It's going to be called Heroes: Origins, and will be a pre-show in the summer/fall introducing new characters and allowing viewers to vote on which new heroes will be included in the fall show!

So....do you think that Peter is dead?

Argh......didn't like that ending to be perfectly honest:angry: I adored Peter. Guess I'm proud of Nathan. I wonder if both actors are phfft...or if they will be back next season. I wonder if this is a stupid questionLOL.

Best scene for me.....the blood slither marks of Sylar into the manhole.

Me too Myth I hope Peter re assembles - and I also liked the Sylar blood trail leading to the sewers.

Um what about Molly telling us there is someone worse than Sylar out there :woohoo: - plus Hiro meeting his Hero in the past B) They are setting us up for a lot of action next season.

Will need to catch the spinoff where we get to help select future mutants er heros.

Well \"Pain Killer Jane\" hasn't turned out to be all that great. If it wasn't for the 2 ladies with a high drool factor I would give up on it.

If you like \"Special Unit 2\" you might try \"Eureka\" when it returns in July. It is also a quirky tongue in cheek Sci-Fi show. It propably has more appeal for me because I have been through the real town of Eureka more than once.
