Umm, Nora...he grabbed her from behind, started swaying her, and singing?
If Monkey still has her rear claws, I find it hard to imagine he was doing that very long:laugh: ;)

Post edited by: DaddyCatALSO, at: 2007/02/10 17:53

Kaylee lets me make her dance all the time. We usually do \"Shake Your Tailfeather\" as I make her tail wave everywhere.
It's a lonely life.

Men are silly:laugh:

For me, the silliness is from this accursed week. I really, really, really hate Valentine's Day. And, I'm not even close to kidding about that. Glad for other folks that they have a good time of it, but for me, it's a bitter little pill to swallow every year. So I get a little weird for a few days. :silly:
Aside from that, the week is weird. Just found out I have a slight anemia from the doc on top of the sinusitis from last week. Fun...

To that, I will say that the ladies of HMC have made this holiday more tolerable than in year's past. ;)

Re cats; per directive of my own ex-domestic-goddess-in-her-own-mind, when we had McCoy and Shania trhey weren't allowed to run loose and I got many a fun souvenir whilst restraining them during moves from one confinement to another...

Awwww Seven....I'll leave hubby for the day and cook you dinner and give you big hugs. I'll bring my cats, that way there will be entertainment too...watching 4 cats tear apart your place:P
Are we REALLY going to be ready for the movie RENO 911: MIAMI???? ROTFLMAO!! Opens next friday. I just can't imagine seeing those short shorts on the big screen:blink:
I'm hoping the reviews for GHOST RIDER are going to be good. I'd like to see that on the big screen...with popcorn:woohoo:

Post edited by: Myth, at: 2007/02/13 01:40

I am looking forward to Ghost Rider as well. It sort of begins the \"geek season\" for me.
MMyth12 posts in this thread
#13 · Feb 14, 2007
Geekiness is underrated.
Personally, I don't like Valentine's Day. It's a manufactured holiday for retailers to make some money. I guess they need this holiday to stay in business but it still , it's stupid how people get caught up in this day. Occasionally, I like getting flowers but they don't last long. I'd rather put the money toward something usuable....like shoes:evil:
Geez....no reviews up for GHOST RIDER as yet. Not a good sign:( I am not into girlie films but the new one with Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant looks sweet. I don't care what anyone else thinks of him but Hugh Grant just adds wonderful dry humor and responses in his films.
NORBIT, the movie with Eddie Murphy raked in 34.2 million this weekend...... Whoa....that has to be one of the best openings in months!

Post edited by: Myth, at: 2007/02/13 18:10

Us ladies love us some 7:evil:
Norbit, although is ridiculous, looks far more entertaining than say Big Momma's House. There is just something amusing about Eddie Murphy in drag unlike Martin Lawrence....dunno, I'm sure it's horrible but the idea amuses me somewhat.
We were supposed to go to Vegas this weekend and see Dolly Parton but since SOMOENE (Barry) didnt call and get us a hotel in a reasonable amout of time, we're not going.....

Morning. Hope everyone in the snow storm area is okay. We had nasty blizzard conditions last night and of course I had to drive to the airport to pick up my son:pinch: I was surprised that it only took 40 minutes more to get there but it took over 2 hours to get home. The highway we use to get there and back had an accident and a 3 mile back up on the west bound side, so we took an alternate route. Unchartered territory for us and about 10 miles out of the way. Man I was tense bundle of nerves by the time we got home. I have to go outside and kiss my car. I wasn't going to get it but I fell for another car w/ all wheel drive with the added stability control and a navigation system. That baby just plowed right through the mess:P Still, I went about 35 to 40 miles an hour the entire way because of the blowing snow and all the other cars doing spins and slips all over the place.
I am SO sitting still at home today!

YIKES! Sounds nasty, Myth. We're cold today (for the South). My drugs for the sinusitis and the anemia stuff appear to be kicking in today. I slept through the night and am feeling WAY better today.

Oz, if that was you that posted that comment over on Whedonesque about JM fans being as fruity as he is, I hope you realize your saying that about the majority of the female members here who you've grown to love over the years like Emom, Myth (who totally IS a fruitcake but we all knew that anyway), Ramones, Raine (who isnt fruity, she's just a ho), Dusty, etc....(not me though since I'm a DB fan):P
I do love the comment \"if this isnt Joss related then delete it\". Don't they post shit like \"Nick Brendon bought a coke at 7-11!\" type stories? How does that involve Joss exactly?

And hugs back to you, Miss Soon-to-be-Married.. ;) You know we have Allegiant Air direct to Vegas from K-Town now (under $200 round-trip).
Yes, indeed, Nora. Two more and then March, which it looks like is going to be a better month. Looks like I am going on a little trip for five or so days. :woohoo: More info on that soon.

Gah....does this mean that I have to go over to Whedonesque?? Please....first and foremost, I am a Spike lover and damn proud of it! Best character ever!! I think the same can be said of the rest of the gals here that posted in Spuffy. I know a lot of JM fans and they pretty much wish him well and follow his career. They also happen to be wondefully funny, smart and down to earth. Many like DB and SMG. Granted, there are probably some over zealous JM fans still and if they are anything like the Nathan fans, I wouls sidestep them.
Nora- It was great seeing JM in Cleveland at the Con. I was impressed actually but the trip was made to meet the HMC Spike/Spuffy loving people from HMC. That will always be the 'best part' of JM for me. How the Hell you ever got to be in my group of friends is beyond me!!!!:P
Seven- Where are you going?????? Please don't keep it a secret. We promise not to show up. Not!!
