I am temped to tough it out and hit the treadmill. BUT my legs itch!!!!

Morning, all. Finally found out why I've been feeling like a beat dog. I've an upper respiratory infection that's been there for a while and bronchitis. Nice, huh? I'm on a ton of meds and had to go home and sleep yesterday.
Oh, I also went to the bank during my break and broke a couple of $20s. If there's going to be some pole dancing, I need to be ready. :woohoo:

LOL no... this random 10 year old said she was pregnant for an April Fools joke, so I laughed and said \"You can't get pregnant until you've reached puberty!\" I got a warning for my 'language' (puberty I presume) and when I came back later I'd been suspended.
They say...
\"You have been SUSPENDED for the following reason:
Do not discuss adult real world topics or situations (including drugs, health issues, abuse, suicide, death, cutting, pregnancy, sexual orientation, etc.) on this site. If you (or a friend) need help, please contact a parent, teacher, or other trusted adult.\"
Which just goes to show they don't analyse any post content.

Hello, everyone! Happy April! Oh crap, it's almost my birthday. Strike that! April...what April? Let's just pretend it didn't happen, shall we? Let's just have an extra long March and move straight into May.
Just a flyby to say hi to my peeps. No, I didn't mean the little sugary marshmellow things. I meant you people! Sorry I haven't been by much in the last few days. I'm stuck in Hell...or maybe it's the suburbs..same difference. This month surely seems to have come from hell. I'm even stuck with jury duty in a couple of weeks!
Guess, what. I just realized I've done nothing but complain since I got here. Please forgive me, everyone. Just go back to the \"Hello, everyone!\" and pretend the rest doesn't exist. I'll be back when I'm in a better mood. I didn't realize I was such a grouch!

sorry US thing. They have been doing this thing on the TV news rags of late about online stuff and when people (the bad kind not you at all) troll for young girls.
They have also of late been doing another series about interent identiy threat as well.
aspparently the TV news rags have nothing better to do but report over and over on these string of online to catch a thief or predator schemes.

Love a good spin in the am after about 4 cups of Joe.

Hey guys. I wanted to apologize for my complaint fest yesterday. I've been in a really bad mood lately. One of my co-leaders for Elizabeth's Brownie troop has terminal cancer. It's not like we're best friends or anything, but I can't help relating to her. Her daughter is one week older than Elizabeth, and she has twins who are 2 months younger than Ryan. I just can't help but imagine what it must be like for her, leaving her kids when they're so young. The twins might not even remember her! The thought of that just shreds me inside. I spoke to her husband tonight, and he told me that he thinks she only has a few weeks left. I'm sorry for unloading this here, but I just wanted you guys to know why if I get moody sometimes.

Val sad news and don't worry this place is my cheap substitute for a couch and meds. WE love you and always will.
My friend Meredith is also suffering from Cancer and I know all too well the toll it takes on anyone close to us. She has not that much time left. So we are focusing on the positive and planning one kick ass party. French food and wine. and the music from the Frames.
okay so turd faces included here is anyone else excited about the Office tonight!!!!

Lone and Ramones - Thank you both for your support. It really does help!
Ramones - I'm sorry about your friend too. If you ever need to talk, let me know.
It feels so good to talk to you guys again! Actually, this whole situation made me realize how short life is and how important it is to embrace friendships. It was a one reason I wanted to reconnect with all of my NB friends again. I missed you all so much and I really do love you guys too!

Thanks Selz and DaddyCat. Just knowing that you guys care helps so much!
Selz - Here's an idea for your 30th. For my 30th, two of my friends dragged me to a strip club for a male revue (ok, you all know me too well, there wasn't that much dragging involved).;)
My friends were even kind enough to buy me a lap dance with the hottest of the male strippers. It was an extremely memorable night.
Hmmm... I think these emoticons are addictive. I miss the rolling one at the old Hellmouth though.

I probably won't see you all for the rest of the day. I'm heading over to Indy to visit friends who had a baby yesterday. I'm excited to focus on some good news for a change! And this is very good news. This couple had been told that they couldn't have children. Even IVF didn't work for them. Only a few months after they decided to quit trying, they found out they were pregnant. If any baby were meant to be, it must be baby Owen.

How exciting!! I just got WHITE KNIGHT and plan to read it in Florida:) Tell him to get JM on DRESDEN. I would love to see him as Stephen but in an interview he mentioned that he thinks that JM would be a great Marcone. Do a report after the signing.
Also...yes you are boobified. If you stuck those whoppers on the top of your head...you'd be 6ft tall:P
Happy Easter to all. We are a divided family here....all the kids are non-believers. Sheesh...and they all are Catholic. My daughter went to a Catholic school from pre-school through highschool and then went to a Jesuit University (Fordham). My sons went to cathechism and I took them to church on Sundays. Now I have a house full of atheists:S I blame it on the college experience....they are all into philosophy, psychology and anthropology. I don't push and I don't argue because that only makes them more headstrong. I will wait and see what the future brings.
Cold here....freezing cold. To get all dressed up in your Easter clothes and then have them covered with down coats, ats, gloves and boots....

Lone; err, aren't Lenten fasts supposed to go until after Easter (or at least Easter Vigil) Communion has been received?
(My denomination observes Lent but I personally have never practiced giving up anything because I've never been at a point in my life where the sacrifice would mean anything and I won't practice any ritual hypocritically. Have never received ashes either for essentially the same reason.)
But I do find it very moving to attend Tenebrae services on Good Friday evening

Hello, everyone! It's good to see you all again! Sorry I've been MIA. It's been a crazy few days. I've been back and forth to Indy twice since I was last here. The new baby is truly beautiful. Since he was born by C-section, he doesn't have the squished face and pointy head thing going on.
Easter Sunday was just insane for me. Between choir and serving as deacon, I barely sat down the entire service. Yes, I am very involved in my church, for those of you who didn't know. Even I can't be mired in smut all of the time! ;)
H1 has suddenly thrown the idea of our moving to another state again at me...somewhere East most likely. I'm hoping for Southeast and NOT Northeast. Not that I have anything against the Northeast...except for the frigid winters! If we do move, we'd only be there for 2 years and then back to Ohio again. Have I mentioned I hate moving?
I'm off to clean the house. The kids are at their grandparents for Spring break, so I'm actually getting something accomplished for a change! I'll try to drop in and see you all again soon.
Sorry for the \"War and Peace\" length post!
