Argh... my office Internet connection is still wonky... tech guy at the cable company scheduled us for a service appointment on August 25 but says that since we're a business it may be this week... unless they discover we're non-profit, in which case it'll probably go to September

Not too bad. Working overtime all this week, so I'm more tired than usual, but other than that things are well. Had a Browncoat Shindig at my new place Saturday, it went well, everybody loved my fandom stuff that I have all over the house.
OTTS WROTE:Hiya Hippie... speaking of things that make Jesus cry... a little vid for you this fine morning ;)

I'm with Selz. And, hippie, that doesn't make Jesus cry in a good way. Does Mr. T have no friends?
And thanks for the Hoff tidbit. Mmmm. Love me some Hoff.

I just love the way Mr. T carries a microphone in his back pocket... especially in those shorts... cause you never know when a microphone might come in handy ;)

No worries, my grandmother-in-law is holding her own in the pillow fight. ;) She needs to come back down here and visit soon. Killian is bigger by the day and needs more people speaking French to him, besides his dad.

Chases Otts with a pair of scissors.
Okay, thou shalt not be frivolous with our Presidential elections. They are quite serious this year. Or as serious as they can be. If the Elephant wins, I'm becoming a Canadian, shall move to Ottawa and torment you... at least until your wife-to-be makes me stop.
Vive le Parti Democratique!

hippie - I guess they don't have adult "learn French for fun" type in your neck of the woods..? You might want to check this out: http://www.early-advantage.com/product/MuzzyFrenchTrialOptin.aspx One of my Spanish teachers used this in class for early levels; I remember it being something like Sesame Street!

Feeels like home
Some days its not even worth chewing through the restraints.
So has been an interesting day at the office....obviously, what with the stench and sushi and the garlic and the.... franco-american political speak :o . Next you'll be telling me Paris is doing TV Spots, while her dog pre-emptively paints the White House pink (to support breast cancer campaigns I'm sure)......in french.
Yeah Selz that shit has been going on here for a while now....you can even have your asshole bleached! Ask Raine! 8-)

*bangs head to hand* D'oh! It's Thursday! I go to Sydney tomorrow to spend 'quality' time with my mum - LegoKing is coming along too, though the other half has an escape route in not coming  . Going to go look at corsets  I figure I spend enough on lingerie that a corset could be justified :o . *dances a lil jig*

Um... nope. You can pretty much do what you like. Excepts killing and raping, although looting is allowed as long as you don't get caught. ;)
Otts - Paris Hilton is at least saner than McCain. And her spot was better produced.

Otts - You betcha... at least until I get that all important text message telling me who Obama' Veep is. Of course, LaLohan would be the first Lesbian on a presidential ticket and that would be way cool.
Happy Thursday! Welcome to the working week (at least for me).

Strangely, since this morning my money is on Mark Warner as Obama's veep. He's delivering the keynote address to the convention, plus he's from a state Obama really wants: Virginia.
Other veep possibilities for Paris would be Jessica Simpson... or Hayden Panettiere ("save the Vice President, save the world") ;)
